Well, today the kids and I went to an amusement park. We all know how bad the food there can be! We ate at Subway before going, and I only got a 6-inch sub. I usually get turkey and bacon, but I skipped the bacon. And I got baked chips instead of regular chips. So overall, good choices for lunch.
At the park, instead of getting my own cheese on a stick, I shared one with my daughter. And rather than my own funnel cake, I shared that with both kids. And that's all I ate at the park. I was sorely tempted to get a pretzel and ice cream, but I didn't.
Of course, I did TONS of walking today. I drank quite a bit of water too, because it was warm and humid, and I was thirsty. I don't really know how much I drank. I didn't have a way to measure or keep track, because the kids and I were sharing a big bottle we kept refilling. I just know it was a lot.
I feel pretty good about the choices I made today for my health. What steps did you take today towards improving your health?
