We were hosting a teenaged guest for the weekend here on Cape Cod, which was a nice excuse for us grownups to do some kid activities. If you've driven along, Route 28 on Cape Cod, you're probably already aware that the Cape takes its miniature golf pretty seriously. There are fiberglass zoo animals, spouting whales, massive skulls and sharks, and of course, there is Pirate's Cove.

Arrr! Some good pirate fun, mateys!
(Sorry. /pirate-talk)
Pirate's Cove actually has two different 18-hole miniature golf courses that travel through caves, over ledges, under waterfalls, and aboard pirate ships.

There is a pirate-themed giftshop, an ice-cream parlor, and an arcade.

Here is our guest getting ready for her shot while my wife keeps score in front of one of several waterfalls.

Atop the mountain, a skeletal pirate keeps lookout.

This robin was enjoying a snack on the green. Somehow, I don't think he found that worm in the Astroturf!

Here's the view looking down on the pirate ship from above.

This was my favorite hole: A massive spiral.

Our guest shot a hole in one on this one!

My wife and I ended up with a tied score! We'll have to come back sometime for a rematch. In the meantime, we called it a draw and celebrated over ice cream.

That looks very fun. Great photos.
I had no idea there were other pirate's cove golf places. It looks a lot like the one here in the Dells. Great fun it is there!
According to their brochure they have about 20 locations in various vacation areas around the USA.
Well darn! You learn something new every day! That's really awesome since we love it there. Golfing on the boat is, well, boatloads of fun (pun intended LOL)
looks like alot of fun
That's some golf course!
Oh goodness! I have one of these golf courses close by my house. Super fun. :]
I love minigolf! This looks like a great course; I bet that spiral hole was pretty exciting. If only this weather would shape up, I could go down to the Jersey shore and play some minigolf! (I can just imagine how squishy the astroturf is right now, though, with all the rain...)
All picturs are very interesting
