It's that time again. Time for me to make a summer reading list. I'm having a really difficult time this year because there are so many books I want to read but when I go to make a list I go blank. I'm reading To Kill a Mockingbird and Bowling Alone right now. I'm waiting to get the rest of the Twilight series and My Sister's Keeper from the library. I spend a lot of time at the beach and by the pool so my list needs to be fairly long. I enjoy almost everything except horror. I would love any recommendations you have.
What will be in your beachbag this summer?

Here's one I think you'd enjoy: NO SECOND CHANCE by Harlan Coben.
But that's an older book. One that was just written a couple of years ago, DOWN RIVER, by John Hart, is also very good.
I have loads and loads of books to read myself, both old and new ones, including HOTEL ON THE CORNER OF BITTER AND SWEET by Jamie Ford, IN THE WOODS by Tana French, and THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE by Audrey Niffenegger (which is so long, that, alone, may take all summer).
I want to read HOTEL ON THE CORNER OF BITTER AND SWEET. I had forgotten about it until now. Thanks.
Crystal, after I read HOTEL ON THE CORNER OF BITTER AND SWEET I'll post about it. I've heard nothing but praise for it. I bought it the month Costco recommended it in their monthly magazine and bookreporter.com recommended it the following week. If I don't agree you can be sure I'll say so.
Thanks Elizabeth. I'll be looking for your review.
