i wish i could develop an eating disorder, i need to loose some weight. No i know they are a serious problem and i should not joke...
I did know someone who had/has an eating disorder and excersised way too much. She was skin and bones, litterally and still wasn't thin enough. IT was tragic to see. Even the smallest sized clothes she could buy she had to pin up to keep them on her.
I don't know how much excersise is too much... but I think that if you are at a normal, healthy weight and are obsessed with weighing less, then you are going too far. Its dangers to get too much excersise as well. If you start to get injuries from overuse of joins and stuff like that, that's a clear indicator that you need to back down.
I love to eat, but I am embarassed eating in front of people, especially when I want sweets. I am overweight and I always think that people will look and see me eat sweets and say "Well no wonder" even though its only part of the issue. Its hard, with society glamorizing stick thin models who could not even fit into an A cup bra or adult sized clothing, and it is just so not the norm. We need a healthy view of our weight, our bodies, our curves, our eating... not a stick model to strive for!
I know someone who over exercises, and yes, I believe it is considered a disease. She is way too skinny now!
I do. I used to be anorexic when I was in my teens and now I'm overweight. I have a love/hate relationship with food.
I have not had any eating disorders..
Yes, it goes hand-in-hand with some eating disorders & even body image disorders as well.
can you consider eating all of the time a disorder ? ? ?
I have that problem......
I do think over exercising is a disorder. Seems like I remember reading something about it.
I know several people with eating disorders from both ends of the spectrum and it's hard watching them destroy themselves
