This week will be a pretty and easy theme since I'll be announcing a harder one next week and perhaps some time next month a extended challenge that should be a bit harder as well.
This time of year we see a lot of nesting birds, and this week we'll see a lot of birds in the graveyard as well. Statues, knick nacks and engravings all count so long as they are images of birds. Any type of bird counts!
From the grand, proud, eagle

To the humble, but beautiful cardinal

To the beautiful, symbolic doves.

To the small blue birds.

And the perished bird.

Birds are not only symbols of beauty in the graveyard, but they are symbols of eternal life, purity, devotion and resurrection.

This is a neat theme Jennifer.
Thanks. I know it's a bit easier than some of the others I have planned here.

Great theme, I will start on this asap as soon as work and the family realize that I have to have Gather time!
What? Family doesn't recognize Gather time? Well, the nerve! Haha. You take your time. You can even send them in after the theme changes if you'd like.
Just joined your group today ... look forward to joining in the fun. Is this a group that you only post the weekly theme to or are all graveyard photos okay?
Glad to have you aboard, Kat! We only accept the themes - you can send in a past theme, if you'd like, but it has to be either a current or past theme to be accepted.
love the one with the cardnal on it, the dead bird ones alway kind creep me out.
OMG LEMUR *Squeel* Okay sorry love those fellas lol
I love the dove one most here and the dead bird one was sad. A victorian age monument for a young child.
This is a great theme!
