I love taking pictures. Often I come along something of interest. Like the first two photos, which to be honest, I have no idea what the red stuff on the leaves is.

Whatever it is, it's kind of glitter like.

See the bug in the rose ?

I thought this was interesting, some kind of growth on these leaves.

Okay, so clover may not be the most interesting plant but the leaves are pretty.

In the camp area was this bush full of aphids and ants. For some reason I never got a photo with the ants in it. However I did discover the ants bite. I do believe the ants protect the aphids and milk them. Looking close you can see little drops of some kind of liquid.

Here's a shot of an interesting beetle on a sweet smelling rose.

A close up of Cotton Wood trees seed. Those little floating fairy like things in an earlier essay.

Sap which is easily removed with cooking oil. Turns into amber after a long while. I find it pretty before all that also.

FABulous !!!
Thanks Peter
Oh and I love you in green !
I suspect the top two images show leaf blotch secondary to Guignardia aesculi.
I had a feeling you'd know. I can't remember ever running across this before. It is kind of pretty. Glittering in the dappled sunlight.
Thanks John
Great photos, Vivian. I suspect the one between the rose and the clover is a parasitic fungus.
That's what I thought but I'm not real good with fungus ( beside morel and boletus) and such. I do find them interesting though.
Great photos.. Your really good... Thanks for sharing... Missy
Thanks Marlene
I bet you had a great time!
I did Bob you should have been there
I wish I was.
These are excellent. And what an eye you have. The bug in the rose confirms it.
Thanks Robert I love the great outdoors
we have one tree with leaves with bumpy things...I meant to take a photo of those and ask gatherers why they are like that.
Good idea and thanks Marsha
