Within the first forty-eight hours, This has had the highest level of reader response of any article or submission I've made this year. Three days ago I finally started working on the series'Why Do We Write'. Just a brief note at this time. Watch for the annotations 1 as we go along ...
What has been your recent experience with Search-Engine Optimization ?
[ To Be Continued ]
1 First of all, We are speaking here of more short-term statistics- Within forty-eight to seventy-two hours in this case e.g. fifty-five pageviews with thirty-two unique visitors, and five returning visitors, and an average of 1.474 pageviews per visit. That means that roughly one out of three people 'clicked-through' or followed the links reading additional pages.
2 Secondly, This has been compared to the longer term statistics e.g.'Googlenomics Explained', published 27 May 2009, has had just over 378 visitors. ' Regis & Kelly Googling', published 31 March 2009, has had just over 219 visitors. 'Lost In The Moment', published 2 October 2008, ( Yes, That's the one about my heart attack ) has had just over 180 visitors, and my personal favorite, 'The Ghostwriter',published 30 June 2008, has had just over 157 visitors.

I don't quite get it, but perhaps I will as time goes by.
In a nut-shell, This submission ( Why Do We Write ? ) as brief as it was, had the highest level of reader response within a twenty-four to forty-eight hour period, of any submission or article I've posted this year ( using cross-links, back-links, and other Search-Engine-Optimization techniques I've developed.
I clicked on "Why Do We Write" and I see it got 6 responses, so I still haven't got it.
I'm not talking about comments, Thomas. I was talking about page-loads, Unique-Viewers, First Time Visitors, and Returning Visitors. For two days, two twenty-four hour periods, It was the highest response I have had all year ( Not to be confused with long-term, overall performance ).
On which website?
The statistical variation between the two web sites has been less than 1/2 of one percent ...
Great job Eric! How is that fitting in with your theory?
