lol we dont get heat like that here, we are to close to the water. Our temps stay in the 80's-90's all summer. We have mild winters and summers here. But i like to lay in the pool, go to the beach and relax inside when its hot. We have central heat and air lol so thankfully my house is always the right temp for the weather;)
JUst like you my dear...AC!!! But we very seldom get heat like that here in MI!! Today is supposed to be around 80 and that is HOT for here as a rule, esp. this early in the year! But I did live in the South for 20 years so I know how really hot it gets there...doesn't mix with the meds I have to take!!
I have to work outside part of the time, in the house then outside to saw and use tools. But without shade and on the concrete driveways, That 98 degrees can turn into 105 heat index easily.
Ours is already 98 here in Lake County. But that's what the pool is for. Jump in, enjoy it for a few moments, towel off and go back to work. Some days, it really pays to work at home.

AC is a good thing. Yesterday I was sitting at my desk feeling a cool breeze, looked up at the window to see, but then window was closed.
I forgot earlier I set the AC to come on if the house got over 80.

Not unlike you. I go from my air conditioned house, to my air conditioned car, to whatever air conditioned building I am heading.
I despise the heat and don't spend any time outside at all when the temps get over 85 if I can help it.

Already 100 according to the gage outside. Now a toasty 86 in my house since it cost me approx $30/day to run my ac-can't afford it Thanks FPL !

It's hard to convince us New Englanders it's summer-our temps have been around the 50's & 60's, even dropping to the 40's at nite!
