Bzzing John Freida Root Awakening

One of the campaigns I am currently participating in from BzzAgent is Root Awakening from the John Freida collection. The collection consists of shampoo, conditioner, and a detangling spray that are made for normal, dry, and breakage prone hair types. Root Awakening uses vitamins, peppermint oil, and eucalyptus to purify, stimulate the scalp with a tingling sensation that encourages circulation, feeds the roots for strength, and nourishes by replenishing the right amount of moisture for your hair type.  The products retails for about $6.50. I have seen them on sale for as low as $5 though.

I have mixed feeling about the product line. The shampoo I found did not leave may hair feeling as clean as my regular shampoo. I had to use a lot of the product to get it to lather well. I never got that tingling feeling that the product advertises and I really did not care for the scent at all. The conditioner was a little better. Although I did have to use quite a bit of the conditioner since I have long curly hair that tends to tangle as soon as it gets wet it did leave my hair feeling smooth and hydrated and was easier to comb through. I did get the tingling sensation with the conditioner but only for the first three times I used it after that not at all. Again I did not care for the scent. The detangling spray I really liked. It did not take much of the product and as soon as I sprayed it on it started working immediately. I was able to comb through my hair quite easily. The scent was lighter then that of the shampoo and conditioner which made it even better. I don't see myself changing my shampoo and conditioner but I will definitely be adding the detangling spray to my collection of hair products that I use.
