Along the Embarcadero in Morro Bay, California, they have little parts that stick out over the ocean. Not quite a pier, just a little area you can stand and look around. Some of them even have a bench. After the shell shop, we went and looked. Here are some pictures we took.

We saw this little bird who seemed to be looking for food

You may be wondering what this is. It didn't turn out that well. The kids got a little excited. We've been recyling a lot the past few months, pick up cans and bottles as we come across them, etc. Well the kids spotted a can in the water "that didn't even look opened!" They knew we couldn't get it but we had to show Carleen and everything lol.

A bird in the water.

Since we were the adults, we didn't get hardly any pics of us together but I asked my oldest son to take a few and he did. :)
