On June 13, Kim M, my brother, sister-in-law and I went on a bus trip to New York City. We had the day to spend as we pleased. The four of us walked around Rockefeller Center and then headed to pick up tickets for Kim and I to go on the Duck Tour.
Here are a few pictures I took on the tour.
Rockefeller Center:

We spotted this duck on the way to the ticket office:

Boarding area for the tour:

And now for the tour:
Empire State Building

Macys

Madison Square Garden

Entrence to the Hudson River:

Before splashing down into the Hudson, we watched a short video on Henry Hudson.

On the river:
We didn't see the Statue of Liberty but she is in the picture below.

We also passed the USS Intrepid which is an air and see museum now. I'd like to visit the museum next time I'm in the city.

Kim and I on the tour.

We had a good time on the tour. Hope you enjoyed the tour.

I have always wanted to go there!
Thanks for the tour!
cool nice shots
Great photos. That was a neat tour.
Lots of great things to see. It looks like you two had a good time. Thank you for the photos.
great photo essay! I didn't see you taking the picture of the sign
you took some fantastic pictures
I bet you guys had a blast. Great pictures JoAnn.
I once attended a Rugby celebration of some sort at the USS Intrepid, which was quite an interesting experience. There were guys in kilts everywhere, and it was quite surreal to party on a war ship/museum.
Wow, sounds/looks like a wonderful tour! The photos are fantastic! I would love to visit there and go on a Ducks Tour.....we've been to Branson several times and they've got the Ducks there, as well......if I can ask, how much is a Ducks Tour of NYC? How long does it last? That would be sooooo much fun! May have to check into that, as we're planning to do a lot of traveling and have never been to New York!
HI Nora... the cost depends on the day of the week you go. $24 on weekends. I forget what it is during the week. I included the link to the website above. I used my AAA card to get a discount. The tour was 75 minutes.
Great photos! It looks like you had a wonderful time! What a great way to see the highlights of NYC.
wonderful photos!! thanks for sharing with us
Looks like fun.
lol I live on Long Island and had no idea there was a Duck tour!! but then again..I have never been to the Statue of Liberty either!!
I think the Duck Tours are fairly new to the city.
I think you had a great time and took some great photos...but I didn't see many ducks. Am I missing something?
The tour is in a vehicle designed to go on land and in water which is called a "duck". There's a picture of one above.
Really nice photos!
Neat! I didn't know they had tours like that. I've never been there. Great photos!
I took that boat ride Many moons ago! I will tell you that I was so excited to see Bellview because I loved Barney Miller!
