All of you know we are eagerly waiting on the arrival of my dogs, Emily's babies. Well still none as of now. However, I sat down at my computer and all of a sudden I couldn't figure out what Lucky our cat was up to. See Lucky is the type of cat that runs in and out, sleeps in James' room , and just don't come out till night when it is mainly quiet and no one is around. I look down and I yelled "OMG Eric babies" he thought automatically I meant Emily since she was laying by me too. But no Lucky had laid down curled up with Emily and had two babies. Both was dead though :( We grabbed her up and put her in a crate. So far since 10:30 she has had 2 more and taking care of those two. I didn't get picture of the babies yet don't want to mess with her much. But I got a few pictures of her. In a few days maybe I can get a few pictures of her. I can only see now if Emily has hers tonight too lol I can't believe I didn't even realize she was having them right by my feet. No noise nothing, not even noise from her.
I kept these small because they are way to blurry large. But if you look real close between Lucky's legs at the one on the left you see a black tale of one that looks all black.
This one below if you look real close its a white one you can see the pink feet. These are the two that made it and I think she is done now.
Lucky resting now. Boy she sure got upset and wanted out of the cage after loosing the first two. I hope she does okay.

UPDATED June 14th
Well Lucky had one more baby after we went to bed at 4:30 AM this morning. That made three living. Well, when we got up at 11:30 this afternoon only 1 was living the black one. Lucky doesn't seem to have any milk and I honestly believe she had them early. The second one born wasn't completed formed and all was very tiny. We are bottle feeding the black one that I think may end up to be tiger striped. Eric started calling it Miracle.
So all of you meet "Miracle" I hope it will be a miracle and pull through on us bottle feeding it. Lucky will get in the cage some and keep it warm but not a lot. She seems to be looking for her other kittens.
Here we put Miracle in a 15 oz butter dish and inside a sock to try to keep her/him warm. It eats about 5-6 drops from a dropper every 2 hours. I keep calling Miracle a her but I'm not sure. She is 3 hours shy of a day old here.

what kind of cat is Lucky? I have silver Persian cats and I think my Diamond is pregnant. I am not sure though.
She is part Persian not full. It really saddens me she lost the first two. I am wondering if it because I shocked her and she stopped cleaning them. I tryed taking over like I use to when I bred dogs but I had no success.

Lucky must really trust you. Cats tend to hide when they are about to give birth but she was happy near your feet. One cat I had climbed between my sheets and comforter and gave birth right under my covers. We moved her and the babies to a box but for three days she kept dragging them back onto my bed.

Oh Renee. So sorry your baby lost two of her pups. I sure hope that your baby and her little ones stay safe and healthy.

We suspected maybe but really wasn't for sure. We are going to try to take pictures of the surviving ones tomorrow after we let her out to roam some. No promises though just see how she does with it.

Was this her first et of kittens? if so, that could explan why a couple did not make it. For some reason cats tend to loose their first litters but not always.

Good name for her/him. Hope it makes it and lives a long and happy life. Have you spoken to Lucky to explain to her about what happened to the other kittens? I really think it makes a difference when we speak to them in such a fashion.
We have been spoiling her a lot. Holding, treating, trying to hand feed her, its weird how they mourn just like us. She hasn't ate for 2 days. I am going to take her to the vet tomorrow I think or at least call I am pretty worried about her too.

Very cute. I had to bottle a kitten my son found.It was about a day old. Simba is now a teen ager.
Make sure you give it the kitten formula avail. at the pet store. Milk doesn't have all the stuff they need in it.
