I have recently started beading to help out my church. We sell Anglican Prayer Beads to help raise money so we can give scholarships for people who want to attend Cursillo. If you aren't familiar with Cursillo, another Gather member did a great job at explaining it.
I've always wanted to make jewelry so this is giving me good beading experience! I'm attaching some of the prayer beads I've made so far. Enjoy! :)

I've done that before, it's okay! :) hehe
Thank you!
I just realized that in the little views of the pics - you can't see the crosses. I guess you'll have to click on each pic to see the whole thing. Sorry :(
Thank you so much! :) Ignore the strings on some of them - I took the pics while they were drying. Also, sorry about the bad quality of the pictures, I took them on my phone.
They are beautiful.
Thank you! Ya'll are totally boosting my confidence! As a self-taught beginner I was worried I wouldn't be able to do it and make them look nice :)
These are lovely! Right after my own heart; I'm Episcopalian of the Anglo-Catholic flavor so really appreciate these. I hope you're including prayer instructions with them for those who are just making the journey to the higher church worship. I like the third one the best.
I am Episcopalian too :) Yes, we do have several prayers and instructions (including ones for couples). I just gave a set to my friend and her husband as part of their wedding gift. I'm also going to send a copy of the BCP. Her hubby was raised Catholic but doesn't care for the Catholic Church really anymore and my friend isn't of any particular denomination.
Great photos, I think it's wonderful that you are able to use your talents to help out the church to help out others. Not much of that going around these days from what I can see.
Thank you! Yeah, I didn't even know I had any kind of talent for this stuff but wanted to give it a shot. If we don't use our God-given talents for good than what's the point? :)
These are lovely. A friend called them Anglican rosaries.
