Today all three of our fur babies wanted to go into the yard to just get some fresh air,
a little sun, and nose around the garden.
It was a little overcast at times, as we may see some rain later on today, and it was not yet really hot so first my husband we out and took the babies, Becky and Scaredy out back, and Bad Kitty stayed with me as she only likes to go out if I go also.
So I took some photos of the babies at play throught the window.
Becky had to check out all her favorite backyard places to make sure they haven't moved since her last trip outside.
Then it was time to rest for Becky.
In the meantime, Bad Kitty was getting very upset that I was 'paying attention' to the babies and not her, so she decided to go out with me this time. She too had to walk around and investigate all her favorite places.
I could not find Scaredy at first, but she just loves to wander and was across the yard chasing bugs, so I looked over at my peach trees, and there on top of a branch was my posing dragonfly just waiting for me.
See him up there? Then at my little hibiscus that is really loving the humid weather
and then finally Scaredy came near to check out everything that the other two already had.
First she gave Bad Kitty a "hello" kiss. Then off to find some trouble.
Scaredy is a glutton. She will eat anything and is the first to come running if you dare to get yourself a snack.
I guess the calla lily leaves don't taste as good as the other lily plant.
That was YUM!
Now it was starting to get a little humid and hot, so Becky came to get her sister
and convinced her to take a rest in the shade.
I thought that maybe Bad Kitty was getting a little thirsty, as she seemed to be trying to figure out how the garden hose worked.
So we thought it was time to round everyone up and bring them back into the house to cool off.
There's nothing like a nice cool ceramic tile floor to cool off a hot cat!

Thank you everyone. They are fun to have around and they do so enjoy the days where we let them go outside exploring. We have to watch them though because Becky and Bad Kitty have both gone over the fence when they got to feelin' too frisky and then chasing them down is no fun, especially when it's hot.

Great shots. Your kitties seem to get along very nicely. Becky reminds me a bit of my newest fur baby, Cornelia. She will have to be isolated for a month yet because she has round worms. When she does meet the boys, Marius and Tiberius, I hope she will learn to get along with them.
It's easier (usually) to introduce a female into a male home then additional females to a female home. You shouldn't have any problem. Plus, they already have her scent so they know she's there, even if they can't see her.
My cat, Bella looks just like Scaredy, x twice his size! Your cats are just beautiful-love the photos!

Thanks all! They've been sleeping soundly all afternoon from their 'exertion'. They didn't even bother to get up for dinner at the usual time. They're still sleeping.

thanks for sharing your pictures. Our cats are all in door cats, wouldn't know what to do outside. Mama cat was an out door cat for awhile, hasn't been outside since she had her kittens. thanks for sharing
