Sarah Palin was interviewed this morning on the Today Show with Matt Lauer. In it she is demanding an apology to all women. Here is the video. Should she drop it or go on? I say she drops it and gets herself an attorney. Aside: ( I miss Jay Leno.)

ugh....thats all im saying....ugh
She's right. All women - and all husbands and fathers - should take offense at what Letterman said. I think the man should be fired.
Never happen - it's america free speech and I hear worse in Rap music you don't see her going after them?!
But it was okay to fire Imus? How is that different?
She has every right to kick back, but as a politician she has to be careful she doesn't come off as a cry baby with thin skin. Politics is brutal, but it's never okay to joke about rape - Especially about your own kid like that. People get defensive about their own kids, for sure.
I just can't stand that woman. I don't feel connected to her at all as a woman. She paraded herself and her poor family around during that campaign in ways that made me lose all respect for her. So when she asks for that apology for all women, I just have to laugh. Puh-leez.
What politician doesn't have their family out in public during campaigns? Even Obama had Michelle and the girls out on stage. But only Palin is "using" her family. What a crock.
"Paraded"???????......
Heidi I was responding to Karen implying that the kids had it coming because their mom is a politician who didn't hide her family while campaigning. What Letterman did disgusting and over the top. The point is the double standard. And these things should be common sense that they are wrong but some let their extreme dislike over ride common sense and common decency.
I hate to say it but I agree with Peter.
I saw this interview when I was on the treadmill at the gym and everybody there was appalled at how Matt Lauer, once again, sides with the idiot that shares his political views instead of decency. I could not believe how hard Lauer tried to make excuses for the creep Letterman.
Letterman's excuse was rich, not to mention VERY reminiscent of your average statutory rapist when he said "I thought she was 18".
They both (Letterman and Palin) will milk it for all it's worth. Him to inprove his ratings. Her to stay in a sympathetic public eye. The victim of both is the daughter.
I blame Letterman the most, the media in general for publicizing this grossness, and Palin for exploiting her own daughter rather than letting it die a quiet death.
Letterman crossed the line. Rape or Pedophilia isn't something you joke about.
I won't be watching his show ever again. Regadless how I feel about Palin. . . if the remark was made about ANY woman it just isn't funny.
I agree Letterman went over the line. I never liked him all the much. But I will not be watching him again.Because that just is not funny
I have never been a fan of Creep Letterman.
Sarah's been the whipping girl of the left...but, she's tough...and no, she's not throwing in the towel. She's got grit. I don't agree with some of her politics, but, she's worth plenty more than The Creep and most of his' guest.
Wolf Blitzer said on (Obama's unofficial fan-club base) CNN that Letterman joked. No...this was no joke...this was the usual assault on anyone that doesn't agree with their' agenda...by ridicule and crude innuendo. This was never intended as a joke.
Sarah handled herself well on Blitzer's program. I don't watch Lauer so I coulded opine on what went on there. Remember, how that ugly guy with the cowboy hat...what's his name...radio shock jock...well, anyway...he was driven out on a rail for making offensive remarks about some young ladies on a basketball team? Yet, Letterman get's a free pass...mainly, because of the strong support of his' creep audience.
Imus! That's the name of the other creep.
Imus did apologize Letterman has yet to apologize. He's just tried to explain why he was tasteless.
True, Charles...and Imus has done better since he returned to the airwaves. Letterman thinks he's above apologizing.
Seems that way.
When candidate Obama ridiculed McCain's policies as lipstick on a pig, Palin screamed "How dare Obama call me and all women pigs!"
It did not fly then, her rantings will not fly now.
Limpaugh has said much worse to gays, minorities etc. I see two faces on the GOP.
Does not make it OK for others to be crude.
crude is not bad
You all take late night way too seriously - she is 18 an adult now she got knocked up the world is cruel. Get used to it, we baby our kids way too much.
