I am elated that I am living my passion! I am a vegetarian.
I am frustrated, yet grateful, that the only cooking show I have found is online from Goop.com, Gweneth Paltrow's site, which led me to Tamera Davis on my space.
There are no vegetarian drive thru''s or restaurants etc to be found in my local area.
I live in a big city too...so this is rather pathetic on that scale.
If I want to eat out or have a date, I usually end up at an establishment that serves meat or fish and eat salad or legumes (beans). But I don't want to smell meat burning etc...it is just not my thing.
Otherwise, I have to travel quite far to get organic vegetarian foods in Wholefoods Market or Fresh Market here in Florida.
Isn't there anyone in television production who can come up with a show please???.
Someone??...anyone have a vegan restaurant???
I used to be in film production. I wished I had kept up with it, but it's been so long and technology has changed now. I would probably have to go back to school just to keep up. But maybe by now, I would have met some great contacts is what my thought is..
No sense in crying over spilt milk...
But I would like a vegan cooking show and a few options of restaurants to go to peacefully.

That is a good point. I don't know of any cooking shows like that. Rachel Ray does have a section in her book on Vegitarian cooking. Good luck.
There used to be a show called Christina Cooks on PBS. It might be in reruns in your area.
no
Here's one, Mary:

Thank you Felix. I love it!
I am clueless about that. I like my bacon too much to ever change my diet. But I can ask my sister and niece. They will probably know more since one's vegan and one's vegetarian.
No I haven't seen any?
Hey Mary - Hang in there. I know how frustrating trying to find vegetarian and vegan resources. I have been a vegetarian since 12 and my father is vegan. I took it upon myself to create Beyond the Garden which is an online vegetarian cooking show that explores healthy and tasty vegetarian and vegan cuisines. www.mybeyondthegardentv.com is the official website and www.beyondthegarden.blip.tv allows you to subscribe to the show. Let me know your thoughts, feeback and if this helps. Take care!
((( Sounds like an opportunity for YOU! Hey Mary~ You could contact a food network and ask them to sponser you, that there's a market for VEGEN"S and...Have your research on hand to educate the network about just how many vegetarian are out there that watch TV...Of course, I'll want to be your assitant :o) !!!!! )))
