The Shell Shop in Morro Bay, California is a fun little place to go to that has tons and tons of shells. It is really neat going inside to see all the shells that they have seperated by type as well as jewelry and things built from shells (like statues, etc).
Carleen was in love with the shell shop. She was in 4 or 5 times in just a couple of days. The first time we all went together. Then she went and bought something for me, then later she wanted to get me something else (I know I'm a lucky girl!), one time I can't remember why she went and then she went in because her long strand of a shell necklace broke and since they remembered her, they replaced it for free!
The kids liked it too. I had to buy a little shell because Cole knocked it down and it broke. Luckily it was only a .50 cent one. My oldest two bought their own treasures.
My youngest son has pdd (pervasive development disorder) so I had to leave the shop before Carleen and the kids did because he wanted to run loose and there were way to many breakables there.

Looks like a fun store! "Excels in shells"... that's cute! :)
What a good idea, a shell shop!
That has always been the coolest store, ever since you were a kid. It hasn't changed much either in the last 20 years. But that's a good thing in this case!
