For the third year in a row we vacationed at a pet friendly condo in Ft. Morgan Alabama.

Toucan Play is on a peninsula two miles east of the civil war fort (damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead). We were actually at about the point where the union forces came ashore to lay siege to Ft. Morgan.

We are also about eighteen miles from Gulf Shores with a private, dog friendly, beach.

My brother drove up, for a day, from Slidell LA with his daughters.
Rented a runabout, which was a hoot.

Didn't take the dog, but we could have.
Baseball (Mobile Bay Bears) and gocarts (should a 60 year old man even be riding a gocart, let alone trying to run little kids off the road?) and lots of food.
