...I will have yet another tattoo! :o) I'm so excited to add to my collection, and sadly haven't posted pics of my last tattoo (done May 23rd) so maybe I'll attach a few here! The addition on the 17th will be a dedication for my Mother, opposite my memorial for my Dad (who passed 12/20/08) and will be a mirror image, symmetrical with the other and on my left side (which is the feminine side). This tattoo will bring my total count to six tattoos, and I have already made future appointments in August and October! If you can't tell, I love tattoos and am so addicted to them! I hope to tie my Mom & Dad tattoos together, and acheive a complete chest peice! Also, I have an ongoing tattoo wish list that includes upwards of six or seven more ideas! I can't imagine not having my tattoos, and would love to hear what the Gather community thinks about the art of tattoos and the personal expression they provide!

What a great tribute to your dad. I am sure that he is missed:(
The colors are your tats are so bright. I am a neophite, but they seem so much stronger and brighter than others that I have seen. Nice work.
You know I am a tattoo lover too and can't wait to see your chest piece when it's all done. Our artist does such wonderful work... don't you feel so blessed to have his art on our bodies?
Can't wait to see your new piece...
I also can't wait to get my next one done... but the tattoos I've been getting have been more and more painful each time. I don't know why this is but I'm assuming it's because my Fibromyalgia is getting worse. It's worth it though to be able to express myself without even saying anything. Tattoos are wonderful for that!
I want a tattoo. I haven't got one yet because they cost to much and I don't have the money right now.
Wow...they are very bright. I don't want one myself (and I don't care for pain either...LOL), but I have no problem looking at other's.
It's very nice.
i'm hoping to get another tattoo soon, too! i LOVE the colors on yours!
Very nice. I really want another tattoo, but just can't afford it at this time.
Your's look great! I had an old home-done tattoo covered up last fall. I will need to get the color touched-up again at some point. I also have one on my ankle that I would like to cover & have something better done with it.
I love your tattoo. I do hve one but need to have it covered up because it is so old. I plan on geting an angel to cover it up in the future.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to check out my post and share their opinions and experiences! I truly appreciate it and will be sure to post pics of my next one.
Your tattos are very colorful and the artwork is great. I love tattoos also. I have two - a tribute to my Mom for when she passed away, and a tribute to my brother when he passed away. I want to get more but my husband isn't very fond of them. I just took my son for his first tattoo as his High School graduation present.
Heidi, be certain that his tattoos can be hidden during a job interview and on his work days. Many with tattoos showing are judged to be unemployable by many in business.
Leo, thanks! We had a long talk about position and subject matter of tattoos. As a manager I know I would be less interested in an applicant that had tattoos showing, and I like the darn things!
Good for you. Many people are totally turned off by tattoos and judge the person based on the tattoo alone.
