I should easily hit the halfway point this month in my quest to read 50 books this year. I've read four books since my May update, finishing up number four last night.

I used to read several books a week but got away from reading and haven't been able to get back into it! Way to go! I feel certain you will reach your goal!
Did you like Dark Summer?
I started #20 yesterday.
I did. I had a hard time putting it down.
Good for you! I want to read the Dead before books by Charlaine Harris....
I don't keep track, but I'm probably well over 25 by now.
I have really enjoyed all the Charlaine Harris books.
Oh good. I did see the first season of True Blood on DVD....I guess it follows the first book.
We have the first book here somewhere, so I'm trying to find it.
I have all the books if you would like to borrow them.
I love Iris Johansen and Tami Hoag.
Great list of books. I should probably get started on one, I've read quite a few already.
hhmmmm... I am lucky to read two books a year... life is crazy!
I understand. My kids are 16 and 22 so I know about those years with young children and no time to read a book for myself.
Great going ,Kat ,you're right on track for 50.
I figure I will be doing much more reading as the temps go up here. The older I get the less I can stand the heat, lol.
Well 29 is certainly not old ,but I'm no spring chicken and it takes it's toll quickly on me .
LOL, I wish! Or at least the body I had at 29!
Me too!! :- (
Great list! I've been a bit slow with my reading as of late. Got a few chapters in last night, though!
Very impressive! I wish I had more time for reading, but I enjoy writing just as much and right now that's my focus.
You are a reading machine.
I'm on my 20th, "Bitter Harvest" by Ann Rule, but I only started in April. Don't have a goal, just on a true crime kick.
Wow, that is alot of books in 2 months! You go Mari!
Oops, my bad, I started in March. I was on my 17th book in mid-May (I think I commented on your earlier post), the last couple have been slow-reads.
I like several of those authors. May have to check out some of the others!
Good for you!
I have read several of those on your list
I don't read much, I don't have the time that I used to have.
don't read
books!
I am on book #27 right now.
Nice list, I haven't read any of them.
Lots of these I still need to catch up on. But I'm certainly doing plenty of reading this year, and really enjoying it.
I'm going to have to look up Charlaine Harris - sounds interesting.
Wow girl, you read a lot. I read a new book about every two weeks.
I have to read books from different authors on different topics every month. Guess I'm too easily bored.
You read all these books and still have time to gather. Congrats, my honey has read so many, begining to start over and read some of them the second time. I still want to read the one By Dulane Michal , one of our gather girls from New Orleans. I think she is finally through with her tour and trying to enjoy some time in their NY apartment with her children.
Where do you find the time?
You are doing great!
I want to read the "Sookie Stackhouse" series. I need to add it to my Amazon wish list; I might not buy everything on it, but it is a good way to keep track of books that I want to read.
Darn woman, you are good. I can't read a newspaper within the same week, and that's the same darn edition. I hope you meet your goal.
Also thanks for the comments, I didn't know that having a link to another website that earns me money is called spam, I have changed the post, so I hope everything is cool with Gather.
Wow, great list! I have no idea how many books I've read this year so far, but it isn't close to how many you have done! That's excellent :-) I just bought 4 books yesterday, I was bad... but I just HAD to have them! LOL {{HUGS}}
I finished reading 3 books this weekend. Guess I should review them soon.
Hooray for novels !!!
Good going!
I keep hearing about these Sookie Stackhouse books. Any good?
