A Soviet Sub that sunk due to an explosion has been found after 69 years off the coast of Sweden. Sweden and Finland claim they sunk the sub as they were at war with the Soviets. That's news to me. I didn't know they were even in World War II. It's good the submarine was found, and these men may be laid to rest although not their bodies as I'm sure they are no longer there. May they rest in peace.

Thats interesting.
I was not aware Sweden was involved as they were neurtral, but I just found this quote on Wikipedia (During World War II, in accordance to this policy, Sweden declared to be neutral concerning the overall conflict, but chose to be a non belligerent in the sub conflict of the Winter War between Finland and the Soviet Union.) I knew Finland was in the war. More about that is on this website.

Norway, Finland, and the Soviet Union were always hasseling over who owned that particular area of the frozen north. Hitler got into the mess so Russia backed off that dispute.
