I love earrings and do wear them all the time. If I were to make one pair of earrings I would need to make 6 pair.
Each year my sister Elaine and I have shared an experience we call Camp Insanity. I have toyed with the idea of making Camp Insanity Earrings for all the women who have camped with us. My sister has three daughters and I have one. We would need 6 pairs.
Camp Insanity is called that because our first trip out with our young children just happened the year New York State closed the dumps and started landfill. What we campers didn’t know was just how much of a pest the bears were going to be because they were hungry. Their free food was gone. They wanted ours.
I would want a bear and a tent on my pair. I would then ask the other women what their favorite two “camping” findings were. We would wear them while in the woods while splashing in our wonderful
mountain stream.

Lovely jewelry selection. A bear and a tent?:) The bear would be cool, but I have to tell you, this old girl quit camping out and that includes wearing tent earrings:)

The first cup of coffee at a campsite tastes better than anything else in the world! Bonfires mean s'mores ;)
I think you need to wear these to celebrate yourself camping - I can tell it's one of your very favorite things that you do...I think the Shedding Light Sistahs need to go camping together someday! Now, that would be insanity! Salud

DD, love the jewelry! The bear is my favorite because she is my totem. I think the mixed ear rings idea is fabulous.

Diva, I absolutely love this Splash! What a great idea, I adore the tiny Adirondack chairs. We love camping and Sistah Sunshine and I look forward to our adventure excursions every year. I think it's great you and your sister go with your daughters. You are teaching them so much about life, nature, survival and taking time to appreciate it all.
We went in a tent for years but since the Epstein Barr, I'd get sick and chilly for days. Then hubby had 7 herniated discs and the air mattress wasn't making it. Finally we got a Coleman pop-up and we're lovin' it. It's rustic enough to still feel like camping but we're off the ground.
I want these earrings for my next camp trip :)
