Ahmed Ghailani arrived in NY in the early hours today. He will stand trial for his part in the US Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania. Those attacks are responsible for 224 deaths. Ghailani is scheduled to appear in Federal Court this afternoon.
It is reported that Ghailani rose through the ranks in Al Qaida to become a bodyguard of Osama Bin Laden's.
