Last night I went on a ghost hunt with some friends to Pine Hollow Cemetery in Oyster Bay. We all met approx 7pm. While everyone was in the parking lot across the street , me and a friend of mine walked over to the cemetery.
We were just standing at the entrance when two police cars show up....now I am thinking - oh crap!!
I walk over to them and ask nicely ..since it is still daylight out....can we be here? The nice officer starts asking me all sorts of questions! now...I have trouble thinking lately and I couldn't come up with the answers!!
What are you going to do? - my response- looking to take photos of historical headstones. (the truth)
Are you in the ghost hunting group that's here? - my response - no! now why did I say that!!! Officially....no I am not in "their" group...we were actually a mish mash of alot of groups!! ( so again - the "semi" truth)....but then I give the response of the century....me in that round about way...."BUT...I do sometimes happen to catch images in my photos"
....what the heck is wrong with me!!! why did I say the stupidish answers...I couldn't think...I am on these pills, I was dead tired from walking 6-7 miles the day before, and another few miles today..cause I had promised my daughter I take her hiking. I can only imagine what was going thru the officer's head!! So the person I had crossed the street with..speaks up and says..We are just going to take pictures...we are not vandals, or going to disrespect** , destroy nothing...(I will get back to the disrepect)
So the policeman goes..alright...you guys can have an hour in there.
As we are speaking the guy cop...the rest come in(finally) and it is a large group of people! I actually feel as if I was on one of those group ghost tours...only I didn't have to pay!! I am dying now...oh crap..now he sees about 15- 20 people ..but he just backs up and leaves.
We head in and I am wearing my OFF Personal Repellent...not working to good! I just start taking photos...others are feeling the presence of a man....then the scariest part..while I am snapping pics of a child's headstone(which always saddens me) a pyschic comes up to and asks about a lost child?? huh?? He got a reading off of me. I was ...I was just looking a child's grave....then he calls me over to "smell" an area. I smell nothing..but I am also congested.
A little while later the psychic and his partner go to leave and they "read" my other friend....and man....they were dead on ! they described a situation that just passed, and spoke of one coming up!!!
When I got home I reviewed my pics quickly...I have to go thru them again...because I think I did get something. My friends did.
By the end of the night...I saw the psychic again and he scared me..with the lost child or something is going to happen.

Let us know. I can't wait for the photos. They are starting to close some cemetaries around here because of vandal. What a shame. I wish we lived closer I'd love to go with sometime.
By us also..LI just had a incident which involved a famous person..someone stole parts of his skeleton. sick...this ruins it for all
I can't wait to see the pictures! I joined a ghost hunting group in PA, but I had to stop going. They started to want me to travel 2 hours each way every other week for classes and what not. It was just too much travel on my limited schedule. They also never invited me on a hunt, I had to find my own. I found plenty right in my back yard, but then THEY didn't want to drive 2 hours up here to do them! So I unfortunately left my clients in the dark, litterally lol. They also wanted me to recruit my own team here... not something I am good at as I am not very social. So I never had anyone on my team to go out on hunts, so I just dropped out :-( Would love to find one closer, but now the group I was in keeps sending these emails about how even if we left, if we even join another group we cannot go back to them. *sigh*, I dunno, I really did enjoy it... and would love to do it again. Are you close to PA? Maybe you can come and do some investigations with me!
What is wrong with people? They're acting like a bunch of children...telling you that you can't come back to their group if you join up with another. Jeeeez. and expecting you to drive to them but they can't take the time to come there. Put an ad up in your local paper and you might get lucky with others in the area just waiting to hook up for some spooky fun

Interesting and kind of funny with the incident with the policeman. Maybe it was 'fate' and the policeman was wanting/needing to hear that little bit for his own growth or curiosity. Personally, I would have suggested you not go on a ghosthunt while drugged to that point, as it can open your energies without protections.....unless you've learned to set energy protections prior to each hunt. I'm surprised the psychics didn't pick up the fear in your energy as they were reading you, although the drugs were affecting your energy, as well as your responses, and it may have not shown easily recognizable fear-energy. You always have the right, and the responsibility, to tell a psychic or medium who is pushing a 'reading' on you that you do not want it. Be clear and firm. They should be asking permission first, although if they were known in the group already it might be an 'assumed' position (that anyone associated with the group would want it).
Anyway............sounds like you had an interesting evening.
The reading was unplanned thy had gone about it at first in a soundabout way & and they did seem to pick up my sudden fear and apologized, as for tired and my meds..you are right. I never should have gone. I did say prayers and kinda stayed back from some evp sessions I still could have exposed myself just by being there.
I'm glad you were aware of this and took those steps. In the future, if you find yourself feeling imbalanced while you're out doing something like this, whether it's from meds or something else, take a couple of minutes and do some slow, deep (but comfortable) breathing. It'll not only calm your vibrational energy, but the additional oxygen will serve to give your physical body some add'l energy in a more balanced way and help to clear your mind.
Yeah..we are aware..and at a meeting with the group I am in (last month) we discussed not going out when not feeling good. I was with a different set of people last night ..and I totally had forgotten about that until I got there! It was just an extremely busy weekend. but I did pull back and said prayers while there.(which I usually do)

Like a caught child saying whatever she can to save her butt and keep from pee-ing her pants. Listen to those lines! LOL! The rest of them can get into trouble, but I'm covered.

The readings might not have been right, considering you were on meds and also very tired, on top of it. They do know better though...
