Recently, I asked a friend what inspires him, and I was so impressed with his answer that I want to hear what you think!

everyday occurances inspire me
I don't know what his answer is, so I can't say...
OH!! you want to know what inspires me? Different things ... a flower, my husand, my cats, a bird... someone here on gather... neighbors, children playing.... the color of a car. I'm not sure if I can actually put my finger on it. I will see something and it will give me an idea to write, take a pictuer, draw a picture, think about what it all means.
Hope
People who have lived difficult lives but have not given into bitterness so that they are still able to be kind and considerate of others. I hope I never grow to being a cranky old woman.
People with common sense and brains inspire me.
Seeing other people do great things inspires me.
People making do with what they earn and not demanding others help them.
Interesting question. The natural world around me inspires me - ocean, birds, flowers, everything. Other people, especially artistic ones, inspire me. Letting go of stress and praying - I find inspiration there too :)

So many things inspire me. My son's life of only 16 years, seeing animals rescued, seeing others doing for those in need, lending a helping hand, bluebirds, hummingbirds, BUTTERFLIES. All of mother nature is a true inspiration.
love inspires me....my mother and my children inspire me....a tough day at work inspires me. walks, good books, kind people inspire me...what a great question!

The survival instinct. Over the past year, I've run up against many things I didn't think I could do. When it came right down to do it or die; I figured out ways to get things done.

My "adopted" daughter, Rebecca! She knows she's dying, but she keeps on keeping on, with a little help from her friends and major help from The Man Upstairs.
Life inspires me! Seriously, it is the things in life inspires me to continue from one day to the next. One never knows what is in store and even when times have been dark, I have always found that to be true. I so wish more people have found that to be true. It is sad to think of all those that have given up on life. Because one never really knows what it holds in the future!
My family. They inspire me to want to be better - a better wife, a better mom. Not because they don't think I'm good enough, but because I believe they deserve the best!
My husband inspires me. He always tells me how good I am at everything. Cookingm singing, taking care of the house, him and his son. He makes me want to be a better person....for him.
Having a moment to stop and take note of what is around me. The only time I'm not inspired, gladly, is when I am to busy to "breathe in".

The reason Mankind [a dimwitted man first labeled our race with that biased word, let's change it to Humankind] has risen to and and maintained our place at the top of the Who's Chewin' Whom Roster - aka the Food Chain - is this: human women are the finest, smartest and most inspiring and inspired Gals on Planet Earth.
Otherwise the Rhinos or Whales or Elephants, Gorillas or Bears would have beat our butts YEARS ago!!
Everything inspires me. There is nothing about this Universe that fails to inspire me and most Life-Loving folks [I believe.] Even George Bush and his criminal Wars inspire me to work hard to get those War Profiteers HUNG BY THEIR CHICKENHAWK NECKS!!!
My Family and knowing that there are people who NEED me to be there for them and that here are actually people who look up to me. Without sounding conceited or something, knowing people love and care about me inspires me. My Father never told me what having children does to you, I see now he probably could not explain it. I know I can't. I just know it does.
