KALIBO

I almost overslept for a while in Rose lounge at Tan Son Nhat airport before departer time for international flight from SaiGon to Manila.

Lucky me the waiter reminded !After arriving Manila, the next domestic flight really made me tired, just because of the long time boarding of both int’l flight and domestic flight and the domestic flight was delayed for several hours.

However the airplane of Zest Air is rather good and the cabin attendant is nice. I do give Zest Air superlative praise, don’t I ?

Well, I finally reached to Kalibo on a sunny day. Kalibo Airport is small and inconvenient but the welcome sign is so impressive !

Kalibo, the capital of province Aklan, Philippine, is best known as the venue of Ati-atihan festival. But I came to Kalibo in the wrong time than I had no chance to explore it.

Kalibo is 1^st class Philippine municipality but the politics here is complex and confused. Some demonstrations are held, I guess that they ask for policy to improve their poor.

Here, I stand at the place where Gen Francisco Del Castillo (Patriot Defender of Liberty and Leader of the Aklan Revolutionists) dies in Action 23 Feb 1897. I like his adventurous character, and certainly the Filipino people love him for his contribution for nation.
