Last week the mailman dropped of some coupons for free Oscar Mayer Deli Creation Sandwiches from Gather.
I am a vegetarian, but I knew that my husband would be happy to try these out, as he cannot live without his meat.
I found the Deli Creations at Publix for $2.49 each, and there were many varieties to chose from. My husband is not a big bread fan, but the flatbread sandwich seemed to have the greatest appeal. I finally decided on the Steakhouse Flatbread Sandwich, as I he loves his steak.
I was lucky to have him home from lunch one day, so I decided to give the Deli Creations a try.
I followed the directions, which were very easy. Just take the top of the box, put the flatbread on the great part of the box, add the meat, the parmesan cheese and the dressing. I only used half the cheese and a tiny bit of the dressing, as my husband can be very picky. The directions says to put it in the microwave for 50 seconds to 1 minute, and after I did so this is the result.
I wrapped it up in a piece of foil and added a chili pepper, as my husband likes his food spicy.
My husband came back and said he liked it, and he especially liked the steak part. The only complaint he had was that he could easily eat a second (and probably) a third one. I think the sandwich is very easy to make, and I like the fact that after I took of the top of the box, the directions were on the inside.

I've tried a couple in the past and they were quite tasty. I have two coupons that came in the mail last week also so I'm looking forward to trying some new varities.
We just bought two last night with my coupons. They do not carry them in our small town grocery store, so had to wait until we made a trip to Austin.
I haven't tried any of them yet, but I keep hearing good things about them
I still can't pick a favorite. But I am leaning towards the foccacia bread sandwiches because the bread is soo flavorful.
I have not seen this one in the store but I really want to try it. I love garlic.
I just tried the flatbread chicken fajita and I really liked it a lot. It was only 270 calories, too. I might buy that again. I am trying the steakhouse focaccia sandwich today for lunch.
Nice review. We don't buy much prepared stuff, but these would be nice to have in a pinch. I'm back, trying to catch up...or at least jump in and read what is being posted now. I don't think I'll ever get back through all the things I missed.

I recieved my coupons and have been meaning to get to the store to get them and I haven't had a chance to get there. I bet my hubby would like the steak one too. He loves meat, especially steak!

My husband loves them! He likes the ones that aren't in the flatbread the best but once he read the carbs and salt contents he decided he would be content with the flatbread ones. I just got 4 coupons so he's really excited.

I don't think the commissary carries this one. I saw it at Walmart the other day when I was getting cheese, though. I think next time I go to Walmart I'll have to use the coupons I have to get this one. I love garlic, and so do my husband and son, so I'm sure someone will eat them here. ;)
We've liked all the ones we've tried, and that's been several. My husband generally takes one at least once a week to work, and we've been buying them for months now. Elliott loves them, so we generally have one every week or two at lunch time. Even Elliott eats a side with them, though. ;) We usually share an apple or some strawberries or something with them.
It looks delicious. I haven't tried any, but I have been seeing all the different kinds on Gather. This one is right up my alley. I love steak too.
