Product Review: Oscar Mayer Deli Creations - Oven Roasted Ham & Cheddar
When I first brought my sandwich's home I was skeptical that a ready-to-eat product could compare to a deli sub and that the bread would avoid getting soggy and stale in the microwave. I should not have worried.
Oscar Mayor Deli Creations packages include everything you need-the meat, cheese, roll, and condiments-for a delicious sandwich. You just assemble them and place them on the reflective tray and microwave for 60 seconds. The only fault I found with the product is the overwhelming use of packaging. (Each sandwich component is wrapped separately in plastic.)
My Oven Roasted Ham and Cheddar Melt came with a large bun, ham, cheddar cheese, Grey Poupon mustard, and a packet of Kraft light mayonnaise and a sauce packet.
I prepared my sandwich in it's specially-designed microwavable paperboard tray that used a revolutionary QuiltWave active microwave packaging to heat the bread to a soft and warm consistency, which was just the right size for the luscious sandwich. I opened it up and started layering the meat of the sandwich. You don't get just one or two slices, but several slices. This is a thick sandwich, just as if you went to a sandwich shop. My Ham and Cheddar had a kind of horseradish sauce for it and it was so tasty! I really like this one the best so far!
Although I love all 5 flavors that Oscar Mayer has created. These sandwiches vary in style and content, yet they have two major things that are constant - good taste and simple convenience. According to your own taste buds, these sandwiches can be eaten for lunch, dinner, or anytime. They are a quick-eat that's flavorful, nutritious, and convenient.
