Yes. I knew when I met my husband that we were going to spend the rest our lives together. We met in April of 1990 and was married in June of 1990. We wasted no time with courtship. We both knew we were made for eachother. June 9th will be our 18 year anniversary. :-) These have been the happiest 18 years of my life:-)
hmmmmm, notice the women have all said 'yes'....the men (except for Keith, who is romantic) say 'yes, but' or 'no'. I can't wait till I get home tonight and can read all the comments.
I definitely know the "lust at first sight" deal! I think love has to be matured, and at the beginning we are talking about infatuation, body chemistry. Infatuation is the excitement when you first get to know someone, i.e., I get all tickly inside when I know it's him at the door! Infatuation settles on you like Christmas morning!
Love has to grow with the sharing of life stories, dreams, ambitions, beliefs. Love is comfort, trust, knowledge of someone's deep beliefs and perceptions. Love settles on you like warm melted chocolate. You already know it's savory, sultry and delicious, and you can take your time enjoying it.
Lust, attraction, liking at first sight. Love? Nope. Unless those two people are cosmically eternally blah blah "meant" to be together, which ... would be rare. :-)
Nope it's just hormones, sorry but the truth is if you don't put effort into a relationship it isn't going anywhere. There is no magic kingdom with a prince to take you away. In fact I was not impressed with William at first. I told my mom I would never date that guy. She told me to be careful cause she had said the same thing about my father, sure enough would ya know it . All together we have been together 27 yrs ( not all married)
No. Lust at first sight sure. You really can't fall in love with someone untill you intimidately know her or him and when I say intimidately, I mean when you know that person's hopes, dreams, fears.

Well that was a nice and assertive YES.
Thanks Keith.
Actually, yes I do. Sometimes, though some people confuse it with lust at first sight. I love these questions, they are very thought provoking.
Definitely yes! :-)
Blessings and best wishes - S.

Yes, but it's only an itsie bitsie spark of love. It has A LOT of growing to do. But everything has its beginning.
It's often times killed the instant they open their mouth.
Exactly! Could not have said it better!
Yes, I do~

I didn't before, but I've changed my opinion.

And I'm talking about my children either. I'm talking about romantic love.
