Growing up as a child I watched a lot of television. I especially liked watching the old Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan Martial Art movies and television shows. As I became a teenager those shows started fading out but then there came a television show called "Kung Fu Legends" ~ this show became a favorite of mine very easily. I learned today that the main actor, David Carradine and star of this show died at the ripe age of 72.
I pray his family is taking his death well and I also hope that he was introduced to Jesus before he died and accepted Jesus into his life. I read the news report from Yahoo, and they said the police found him in a closet naked and it appeared he hung himself.
Boy that is surely not the type of thing you like to from anyone's life, especially from an actor/actress that was liked. Did you used to watch those shows? Do you know who I'm referring too?

I had to visit yahoo news to look as I knew the name but couldn't place the face. So sad. It does sounds like it was suicide.
I wasn't thinking, I should have at least added the link to the story.
A sad day indeed.
There are lots of reasons for suicide. It has often been called "A permanent solution to a tentative problem." The trouble with that facile little aphorixm is that the problem doesn't LOOK temporary (or may, in fact, not BE temporary) to the person trrowing the rope over whatever he thinks will hold his weight and keep his feet off the floor.
Depression, for instance, can become utter despair. Tomorrow may be better, but the victim doesn't believe it tomorrow. Terminal disease, with debilitating pain in the offing, the onset of Alzheimer's Disease... these can be insurmountable for some people, leaving death their only believable salvation.
How terribly sad. I just saw him live on some show just last week and he looked great for 72.
Oh my, that is sad. I liked David Carradine. Thanks for posting to http://videosrus.gather.com/
Last time I saw him, TMZ caught him at the airport. He was asked if he'd win a fight against one of the bigger photographers, and he said, "I'd **** him up!" I always loved his quiet strength and presence. Sad news.
Although I rarely watch TMZ, I find that comment coming from him funny!
I heard about it from my hubby this afternoon. Very tragic news!
I had not heard this. So sad. I feel like a childhood friend has died.
I hope it wasn't suicide. He struck me as the least likely since he was so seriously into the philosophy of martial arts. Terrible loss. He was always a welcome presence, and elevated any B-movie he was in while occasionally showing up in A stuff like Kill Bill. As soon as my VCR is working again, I'm going to review a couple episodes of King Fu - The Legend Continues. I did watch Mel Gibson's Bird on a Wire today; David was a hit man.
I cant remember but it's so sad to die that way
I had heard he died but didn't know the cause, how sad.
This is very sad
I heard it on the radio this morning. It's very sad.
Today's news is saying it may be foul play, not suicide.
Yes I remember those famous words from the show; Take the peble from my hand. He will be remembered.
I used to watch them with my grandma, she thought he was just 'it'
i loved him in the kill bill movies
miss him i will
