She's A Rainbow (embedding disabled, worth a watch and a listen, great song!) I wanted to add She Smiles Sweetly, but the only one I found you could not really hear.      Â

I love the Stone! Thanks!
Chana,
How astute of you. 'Let's Spend the Night Together" this song along with "Bernadette" were my top poiks on the juke box at the Eating Affair on the Sunset strip in about 1966. Then "Painted black" was an incident in a pub in London, I won't go into now!
And "Ruby Tuesday"! I adopted this as 'my' song when it came out, I was born on a Tuesday!
Thanks my dear. Hope you are feeling better, too!
"Bernadette" is awesome. But, what really gets this sweet miss is Percy Sledge "When A Man Loves A Woman". Just thinking about it, oh my!
I met Percy up at the Cow Palace in the early 60s, he was very nice to us kids!
Georgie, you should see my face, totally green. His voice makes me melt. I really wish I could have found "She's A Rainbow" that is my favourite Stones song.
I hitched up to the Cow Palace with a friend to see The Byrds play and Ramblin Jack Elliot followed me, he was afraid David Crosby would do something or other (jack's wife ran off with David so he was paranoid! ) i was 15 or so and not after david, nor he I! It was funny, so Diane and I were in one of the locker rooms there and Percy came in and said, loudly 'Hi! I'm Percy! Who're you young ladies?" It will always stick in my mind when I hear any of his music.
Georgie try this, he sets my heart doing cartwheels!

Percy Sledge, Oh My!
Cool videos. We adore the stones around here. My son's first concert was The stones at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City 2 years ago (??) It was excellent. They rock!
Hey Risa! Have a good Shabbos? Nice to see you are keeping up the tradition. My goodness they were young there. Never seen them live, how was it?
I've seen them 3 times - 1989, 1994 and 2007. Steel Wheels tour at Shea Stadium - was very good but that album wasn't the greatest. 1994 was Babylon tour and it was at Giants Stadium here in NJ. It was amazing. The best was the tour in 2007 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. They opened with a real Big Bang thing and they came through the screen onto the stage (or so it looked like it). It was my sons' first rock concert and it was incredible. They were fabulous. They are always great live BUT the music depends on the album they are promoting. Since the last cd was Bigger Bang, which was amazing, the concert really rocked.
My face just went green again. Oh, the envy!
I love old Stones.
The Cow Palace...I haven't heard that place mentioned in quite a long time. I lived in San Franciso for awhile some years ago. Adored it, but couldn't afford it.
Thanks for sharing~~~~~~~~~``
I remember Ruby Tuesday and I love this song because the ruby is my birthstone! Cool videos, Chana!!
Janie, I did an allnighter. I love, love, love high speed! Just did Pretenders "Stop Sobbin" and "Brass in Pocket" which is my fav of theirs!
Wow!! I expect to pull an all nighter tonight! With Natalie out of school and my hubby's job, I don't expect to get any shut eye till about 4am!! Cool tunes, Chana!
Good luck! Youtube, you gotta' love it!
GREAT!!!! I used to have a lot of cassette's from them, but I've seemed to have misplaced them, or sold them...
