I know what you're thinking, "Is she crazy? A recipe for ice cubes???" But these aren't ordinary ice cubes ... these are fancy! Can't wait to make some and have them in the freezer to add to ordinary beverages, from water to sun tea to pop to Gin & Tonics!
Lime Ice Cubes

Prep: 10 min., Freeze: 8 hr. This recipe works with limes or lemons. Just substitute an equal amount of lemons and lemon juice.
Yield
Makes 42 ice cubes
Ingredients
• 2 medium limes
• 1 qt. cold water
• 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
Preparation
1. Cut each lime into 1/4-inch-thick slices; cut each slice into 4 wedges.
2. Stir together 1 qt. cold water and 1/4 cup lime juice. Fill each compartment of 3 ice cube trays evenly with lime juice mixture. Place 1 lime wedge in each ice cube compartment. Freeze 8 hours or until firm.

Hmmmmm seems to me lemon would work this way to. Sorry I have never been a huge fan of lemon or lime in my water!
