very good! thanks for the mention...this has been a lot of fun and I'm going to continue to make sure I drink water over soda from now on....still getting in some soda, but more water.
I have had only 1 soda two days ago. So far only water. I will continue drinking water.
interesting...Kudos to all those who've given up soda!
Stefanie, I've simply journaled via daily comments, but I'd be happy to write up a little summary on my last day of the challenge, to share my personal experience.
Rose, that would be great! It's interesting to read what the positive and negatives have been for everyone during this experience.
Boy, people sure do have some wonderful ideas. I like the Crystal light added to my water and it does help me achieve my goal. I'm still not fond of plain water.
I am drinking it! will post later when I am done with my 8 glasses!
I will be catching up on my posts as this weekend we switched from comcast to verizon and our computer was down until the conversion was complete, so look for my posts later tonight and I will absolutely be writing a summary piece, one thing that I have noticed is that if I do not get that glass of water ready on a regular basis ,my body now has a craving for water which I did not have before.
Aww, I should have made a post too. I guess I will tomorrow after the challenge is over.
It is easier for me to just post a comment, so I'll keep doing just that!! KEEP DRINKING WATER!!!
They are doing great!
I think everyone is doing such a great job. I have been an avid water drinker for years and truly believe if I was a pop drinker I would probably wiegh 4 hundred lbs....it helps me feel good and I love the taste! So congratulations to everyone who participated and I hope you continue to drink at the least 8 ~ glasses a day!!
I am finally up to 6 glasses of water a day now. If I want something different I just squeeze a little of a fresh cut lemon. I usually don't drink anywhere near 8 glasses a day of anything. I just sip on it all day long. I have noticed going to the bathroom more, especially at night (that's when I drink the most of anything). I will have to watch the time today.
I didn't post a day by day article, as 128 ounces or more a day is my usual, stephenie,
but I do also enjoy putting fresh lemon in 2 or three bottles of water each day for a refreshing change.
8 glasses for me today.
I just finished my 8th glass of water for today. I am so full. I like the fact that it is from water and not heavy greasie food.
Done! I drank my eight glasses! now i am having my morning(evening) coffee!
I was really good today. I started early, right after my 2 cups of coffee. Also, not just slushies can be made with Crystal Light but also smoothies. I adapted a Hungry Girl recipe today and it came out excellent. Better than Jamba Juice and better for you! I'll write about it soon.
With the help of toiling in the heat all day re-poting some plants I drank 5 Glasses and Im now on my 6th :)
I drank my 9 glasses of water today. No ice tea today which is a good thing as I have cut back on sugar.
Wow everyone is doing such a great job.
I posted on the other thread...but I thought I did okay today.
Was able to do 80 oz yesterday
I start off the day with several glasses of water -- never beena coffee drinker, it's always water that I enjoy first thing and then maybe some tea. rest of the day too, those are my favorites.
BEcause of my computer issues I had trouble posting last night but I have just finished uploading my journals of the last 7 days, I will have my summary finished soon, and yes I posted them to the group
Looks like everyone is making good strides.
A few of us have decided to continue with the challenge! We really want to make this a habit that sticks with us for good.
I'm going to visit these articles tomorrow tomorrow when I get back from the field trip.
I have a summary planned to write up for sometime tomorrow. :0) Right now bed calls me! Night all!
Oh, and like Alex, I'm sticking with the challenge. :) More on that in the summary, though!
