Shipboard Entertainment - A Photo Essay

What is there to do on a cruiseship you might ask?  Isn't it all boring?  Just sitting around lounging by the pool?  Ah hah, I answer.  There is tons to do on some of these ships.  Here, let me show you:

Obviously, there is a pool area.  This one is specifically for the kids with sprinklers and everything.  They do have pool areas for adults as well as hot tubs.

Going along with the water theme, they do have a surfing simulator called the Flow Rider.  Here you can practice your surfing.  I was never daring enough to do that.

On the bigger ships, they even have 9 holes of mini golf.  It's fun for something different, but not a great course.

Of course, you have to try the Rock Climbing Wall.  It's fun.

This is the theater where each night, they have different shows.  From magicians to comedians to broadway style.  There is something for everyone.

This is certainly something interesting (and not on every ship.)  It's a Karaoke bar.  Enough said.

They also have plenty of seminars where you can learn to do all kinds of things.  From salsa dancing to line dancing to making your own pasta (shown here.)

Last but not least is the ice skating rink.  Never skated at sea before?  You'll have to go to the larger ships to try it out.  It's fun though (although the ice has a little different feel than on land.) 

There really is a lot to do on board.  Something for everyone.
