Airbus A330 Wreckage Believed Found off the coast of Brazil. Not enough wreckage was found to say for sure, but it doesn't look good. The plane took off from Rio de Janeiro and was bound for Paris when communication was lost. Pedro Luis de Orleans e Branca a "prince" of the former roylal family of Brazil who was 25 was reported to be on the plane as well.

Let's hope there are survivors (preferably all of them) and they find the black box.

I was praying they would find people all night. The water there is warm enough to survive in for quite some time.
This is truely sad. May their relatives find some peace in this time of sadness! My thoughts and prayers are with them and the families
What a horrible tragedy! I heard that there were also two Americans aboard......it doesn't sound like there are any survivors at all.

I just read it, and they say if that was from the plan, it may have been trying to turn around.

Airline pilots are speculating lightning knocked out the wx radar, and they couldn't see the t-storms and may have flown into a strong cell.
