Forget about all the awards "Twilight" won tonight. The moment at the MTV Movie Awards that everyone will be talking about is when Bruno landed crotch first on Eminem's face. Let me explain...
In a stunt in which Sacha Baron Cohen was dressed as his alter ego "Bruno" he was suspended from the ceiling wearing only feathers and a jock strap only to experience technical difficulties with the cables. Bruno was then was lowered from the ceiling and onto the head of an unsuspecting Eminem. The scene was awkward, uncomfortable, and just plain weird! Eminem started swearing; his bodyguards immediately helped push Bruno off and away from the rapper's head. The dialogue between Eminem and Bruno was the following:
Eminem: "Are you serious? Get this mother f****** off me, man."
Bruno: "Hey, don't touch me guys, I've already got a boyfriend."
Eminem and crew then stormed away from their seats and up the aisle, causing murmurs throughout the theater. Without a doubt, it was the most memorable moment of the night. But poor Zach Efron was presented with an award for "Best Male Performance" two seconds after all this drama. Talk about having your achievement overshadowed!
But was the Bruno and Eminem scene at the MTV Movie Awards for real? Eminem must have been on the joke, right? Watch the video below, then vote on what you think. I suspect it was just a clever stunt MTV put together to get the media buzzing about the show. (And to add an extra reel to their "Best MTV Movie Award Moments" throughout the years.)
