We grow with what we know
As the Universe evolves
The questions, one-by-one are solved
Ever expanding thoughts and matter
The cosmos breaks down into tatters
To be rebuilt again, so don't flatter
Yourself into thinking you know the way
It will be for all someday, you don't!

It is nice verse, but I find your last two words a bit blunt for such an airy thought.
Bill, I tend to do that, always have, in writing and thinking and talking. I sort of undermine any lofty or serious thing with sarcasm and humour. It is my own safety valve for not getting too emotionally invested (on the outside anyway)! See, there I go again!
