" I was doing a little research on 'homelessness' ( 98.81357 percent of submissions returned using that particular term are both negative and judgemental, an issue best discussed both separately and at a later date. I this point I will say that this term, and this predicament or situation, if you will, needs to be thoroughly examined & redefined ). I segwayed into " living in my car " whereupon I noticed over in the right-hand column1 an ad had appeared touting the benefits of moving to Equador, and the cost of housing therin. I chuckled, and thought to myself, apart from the political implication, of the 'homeless people' fleeing to Equador for solace. Afterall, If you could afford a $ 39,000 mansion. You wouldn't be homeless, would you?"

What's Your Experience With Google ?

We've all tried Googling our own names, of course, and I've found that I have left a much larger internet footprint than I like. The strangest Google of all, though, has to be seen to be believed. Try Googling I am extremely terrified and pay close attention to the suggestions. Wouldn't it be interesting to know why "I am extremely terrified of Chinese people" is one of those suggestions? That is, if they have'nt done something about it yet. I'm sure there's been a hue and cry since it appeared on Failblog. It is/was real - I tried it myself. Now I'm wondering about the story behind it.
You bring up an extremely interesting, and well taken point. I have noted in some of my earlier submissions that there is a trend, at the moment, of Googling, in quotes, longer & longer phrases. While we speak, Google and no few others, are working upon a more semantic approach ( not to mention how to capitalize or harness that trend ).
I also spell check with Google, however, I am just beginning to use the Microsoft search engine tho, I'm tired of Google and want to see what else is out there
