I'll join and check it out. I have plenty of books I wouldn't mind getting rid of, but most of them are heavy, meaning they cost more to mail, even at media-mail rate.

This is a wonderful idea , but the price of mailing would cost more than buying another book at Walmart. Plus the ones I trade with friends.

i do all my book getting through on-line book exchanges - almost always less than $3 a book to mail it out via media rate

I'm in. I don't have too many options here in Samoa, we don't even have a book store. I either order my books or have family and friends flying in from the states to get me some books, if they remember. So, count me in.

Great idea,, but right now all my books are packed and a lot of stuff in front of them.
We moved from Iowa back to Michigan and no room to put anything so stuff still packed. Waiting to find a permanent place to live..

It drives me crazy because I have books I want to read..
It will be at least a year or two before we will be able to find a new place.
We have to wait till Larry's disability court date..
