I don't, but then I grew up poor and so I'm very aware of my habits.  I really don't like to spend money unless it is something that is needed.

I try not to shop when my friends are around. 

It depends on the personality of the other girls.  Some friends encourage or make shopping fun, others are the let's just get it done and get out of here type. The second category are the best to hang with if you are on a strict budget, no bad influences.

No, I don't.  I like to shop alone because I am picky and want to scrutinize my purchases.  If I am with friends and they are shopping, I just tag along and don't buy anything.  I rarely go shopping with other friends.  I find it boring at best.  I'd rather go DO something, or just sit and chat, but no shopping.

My friends and I are such cheapskates that we have contests to see who can get away with buying the least!

No, I usually shop less as I know I could spend more with the girls around....so I over compensate!!

Most of my friends are short on excess cash so I try not to buy when with them. However, if there is something on sale that I can get for cheap, I will. It is all about conservation and rationalization.

I buy more when I'm out with girlfriends.  I notice I buy a lot less around guys

In other words, I I am so disciplined in that regard that what I buy I must absolutely adore!

If I'm with a man friend, I spend the same as with the girls - I'm paying for my own. On a date, I spend less, because I'm there for time spent with a man I'm close with.  I like it when he pays, but am shy about spending his money.

In return, I make great dinners or bbq's at home to thank my dates. And then there's the sex...

Its mainly just for the social part, sometimes we just go in the store to look around and hope and wish. And as far as me and my mom go, its according to our situation. We're either in there getting a few things we dont need, or we're there for one another to say no and to keep ourselves on track with the list.

it depends on the friend, My sister and relatives, no I almost never buy anything when they are around. But my pastor's wife, Yes I do spend more. I think it's because she has the more conservatiave taste I like and I trust her opinion on the things I like. Where as my other friends and family try to get me to buy to "in" things, most of which I don't like or don't feel is appropriate to be wearing

I think it depends.  When I did shop with the "girls"  we usually looked for good deals.  We didn't spend any more but rather got more for our money.

I don't like to shop, so if I am with friends I usually spent less.

I dont go shopping with the grls. I have no girls! just a couple neighbors.
