Meet Our New Kitty, Asriel

Well, the landlords finally broke down and let us get a cat! We've been wanting one and they said no, but the guy under us moved in with a dog, so they apologized for being hypocrites and said we could get a cat.

So we went to the animal shelter a couple of days ago and looked around. We originally wanted a kitten, but they don't adopt out kittens until they weigh 2 pounds and none were quite there. Besides that, kittens are a lot of work to train.

But then we saw a kitty named Lenny who was a male that was about a year old. He was playing with the other kitties in his box and he reminded us of the cats we left back home with our parents (Pendragon and Dante) and so we knew right away that this was the cat for us!

He's quite a bit shy. As soon as he was let out of its cage, he ran under the bed and has made that  his safe haven. But he's starting to come out more often and let us pet him and to play.

And since I know everyone wants to see the pictures...here are the best ones I've been able to get before he darts back under the bed again!
