There's a great-sounding garage sale I read about in the paper that I'm going to go to in the morning. Lots of baby stuff. And, unlike so many sales around here recently, it starts tomorrow--the majority of the sales have been on Thursdays and Fridays, which seems like a new trend!
A co-worker brought me a bag of things that didn't sell in her garage sale. I've got to get the items washed and put away. Most everything will fit Sam in the fall or next year. There's a little hooded sweatshirt (the zip-up kind) that he loves to wear around the house, and I was very happy to find the bag also contained an OshGosh reversible winter coat in great condition. That'll be a big help come winter.
There's a 1st ever Women's Expo taking place in town, too. I have a free pass, plus a $1 off coupon, so my mom and I could both go for $4 total. I think we'll enjoy checking that out for an hour or so. I'm hoping for some fun samples and freebies.
I've still got a stack of books my father-in-law gave me calling my name, so I'll probably work on that while Sam naps tomorrow.
I also want to go fabric shopping. I don't know if I'll get to it tomorrow (or if I want to spend the money--we're going on vacation next week), but I need to make some heavy curtains for the baby's room to keep the light out. And I need a rug to go under the wooden rocking chair I use for night-time feedings. I'd love to get a decent rug at a garage sale. They can be so expensive!
Then, Sunday I'll take my mom to church and get ready to go back to work on Monday. The weekends never seem long enough, and my impending maternity leave isn't going to be all rest and relaxation :)

Sounds like a fantastic weekend, Tab! We have to go grab Chris from Mount Pleasant on Sunday. I did some gardening and planting today, but aside from that, we have no plans this weekend. I might take care of "Mount Laundry" that keeps getting taller (I have a feeling Rae has been dumping clean clothing into it) to the laundry mat, just to get it all over and done with at once.
Enjoy your weekend, it sounds like you have some great plans.
It sounds like you are going to have a great weekend Tabitha. I hope you find some great steals at the garage sale.
Wow, sounds like a fun fun weekend.
Sounds like a good, busy weekend!
Our working women's expo is always during the middle of the day, during the work week....I can never go.
I need to start working on the baby's room, and also redecorating Elliott's room--especially since I'm taking his window valance down...I'm giving away his nursery set, because my husband doesn't want to use it again, and it's exactly what a friend was looking for.
Enjoy!
I hope you enjoy your weekend! Time off is so wonderful!
