It was good as a stand alone movie, but if you have read the book (like me) it is not very good. Too much of the plot is left out and a lot, i mean a lot, of the story is changed.
Nope haven't seen it YET!! But I'm a wantin' too. I hear so far that all have enjoyed it...I do love Tom Hanks. have fun then let us know if it was good or not...but don't SPOIL IT for us!!
I read the book. It was way better. But it was a long time ago...so I let myself enjoy the movie. Went with daughter who made the mistake or re-reading the book immediately before seeing the movie. She was disappointed. Husband did not read the book and just took the movie at face value.
I read Angels before DaVinci as was the way Brown intended...the movie is presented as coming after DaVinci....

Haven't seen it yet. But hubby and I might see it this weekend. We're trying to decide between Angels & Demons, Terminator and Night at the Museum.

It really bothered me the parts that were changed. I'm one of those rabid purists when it comes to making books into movies :0)

I read all Dan Brown's books so I have no reason to see the movie. Already know how it ends :-)

I havent seen it but the history channel has a show which I have been avoiding like the plague because it spoiled the D'Avinchi code for me.
