Why is anytime I slip up the kids never let me forget??? The other day I was listening to a 90's cd, and I let a song play. I let the kids listen to it. Now i am paying the price. I let then listen to "Whoomp there it is". LOL growing up when I heard I never realized it was that dirty of a song. The only good thing I have is the kids just like the beat and don't really understand the words. Now when I am driving in the car, they are sitting in the back seat singing "Whoomp there it is" LOL one of these days when I am not driving i will take a video of it for you guys. It is really priceless.

Up until about a month ago I never realized how dirty that song "I like big butts and I can not lie" is. Wow, I looked at the words.... HOLY COW!

I'm not a musical person, so I'm not familar with this song, but I am familar with kids and they will continue to remind you when it's your turn to be called on the carpet. I used to find my words being repeated back to me too during my child rearing years. LOL
I liked a song for years and my husband kept saying it's so strange you playing that song and liking it, hm DIDN'T know that's what the words were on that song, just liked it a lot-he just laughs.

That's cute. That's part of the reason that we have the rule in our van that it has to be the Christian radio station or a CD of Elliott's (namely Wiggles or Imagination Movers). It's amazing how kids learn lyrics and things so quickly.

I bet it's adorable! Don't you love it when kids sing such stuff in all innocence? Last year my 6 year old was listening to the radio with me on the way to my grandma's when we arrived she jumped out of the car singing 'Save a horse right a cowboy.' I blushed clear down to my toes over that one! PIF
