Every day that I awaken to find you're not next to me is another
day with the sun veiled in gray clouds. While I know in my heart
that the distance will never keep us apart, the longing is nearing
unbearable. My stomach and head both ache. The world whirls
when I think about the miserable, undetermined amount of time
of our separation. I have family, friends, and two dogs to keep me
company, yet I am still so lonely. My heart only speaks of winter
although it's nearly summer in California. I want and need you by
my side soon, baby. The agony of being apart is tempting me to
loose control over my mind. I beseech you to get your
passport and come rushing into my arms as soon as humanly
possible, my love. Our lives beckon us to begin and end, together.
I love you.
Yours forever, Jenny XOXOXO

Beautiful and filled with longing...
Thanks, Cheryl! The story of our lives, my friend.
I hope everything works out. Is there anything you can do to help facilitate Aman getting a passport?
Have you read the prose and poetry of Kelly Cherry? Her memoir, "The Exiled Heart," is quite searing. She was in the same situation as you with her lover, who was/is from Latvia, a formerly Soviet Bloc country, some years ago. They eventually had to give up hope of their being together. However, it's a different world now.
I will definitely read it, thank you! I don't think there's anything I can do to help.
Can you get some music gigs arranged for Aman? Talk to a consulate? Anything to get the Indian gov't moving on a passport...
I'll try anything. Thanks for your suggestions and support, my dear cousin! Hugs.
I hope things work out they way you both are hoping for. It is hard to be apart from the one you care about.
I know you are in our corner, Thanks Linda! HUgs.
Poor dear! I hope he heeds your plea in some way. That the heavens open and find a way for you to be together. It would make such a lovely romance novel, I'd say!! Thanks for posting to my group, Anythingwriting And, here's to a happy ending. Sigh.
Thank you so much, dear friend. I will catch up with all of your posts this weekend. I'm going to sleep now because I have a fourteen hour work day tomorrow. Hugs.
Thank you this is very poignant! I hope it all works out for you and him.
Well, thank you, Norene! I am moved by your comment. Hugs.

Your soul sis - S.
You have a very good soul, and I feel your passion, when my lady looks at me the way she does. I could not bear to ne apart. Your beautiful love letter is fantastic ...exclusive! I will feature this one!
Beautiful prose, Jenn.
Hugs.
Good morning, John! Kimberly's assignment for GWE today is to write letters. Thank you. :))
Delicious pain, sometimes more pain than delicious, sometimes more delicious than pain, sometimes distance is better than proximity, having lived both sides of it, once with my longterm boyfriend as we were sometimes in the same city for a month or a year, sometimes only every two or three months were we together in the same city, but the pain and longing persists, with pain and delicious pain.

Thank you, my friends! I appreciate all of your visits and comments.
Wow, Jennifer,
I wish the best for you, this has got to be more than hard, and I hope that the two of you are together soon, very soon. Life is empty without the one in it.
