It was a long time ago. I was in my cave and the dinosaurs were roaming outside. My cavewoman and I were in the cave and we had our first smooch. It was amazing. Ah, the memories.
My, my, my David. I'm so happy that you could remember how long ago it was but you failed to enlighten us on HOW that first kiss was. Amazing isn't enough. hee!
7th grade playing spin the bottle. It landed on me and she laid a big, wet smacker on me. It was awesome!!!!!
OOh, sounds special Adam! :)
no
Nancy! What the heck? You don't??
it's called "I'm too old, and it was so long ago" desease...
Honestly, wish I could remember but nope nothing comes to me. LOL
I do remember my first love *sigh* and often wonder what he's like now.
Old disease. You silly woman. You're only as old as you feel.
Are you sure that first love wasn't the one from the first kiss??
I often think about what all of my exes are up to too! ;p
No, I don't think he was my first kiss, but I can honestly say I'll never forget how he kiss. OH I need to stop thinkin' bout that!!! *fannin' myself*
Heee! I'm fanning myself now too! Sounds pretty hottt! ;)
he was hot.. *sigh* I'll have to sit down and compose a post about him. I wish I had pictuers. Of course this was over 30 years ago. But man I still see his face in my head and crumble like a cookie.
I don't remember his name but it was kindergarten and we pulled my sweater over ours heads and kissed.
Now a days we be expelled.
Oh I remember mine's first name, only because we grew up together, but met in kindergarten class. He asked me to be his girlfriend the morning of the first day of kindergarten. I didnt know that our families were friends though, lol. So yeah, I've known him thru the years.
Vivian ~ That is so cute! Ya'll actually pulled your sweater over your heads and kissed? Precious!
Yea, these days you'd be considered perverts or something worse. Tsk, tsk.
Krystal ~ You've known your first kiss person all of your life? How cool is that! ;)
It was in 1st grade on the playground.
I remember he smelled like peanut butter and I didn't like that!
Aww Melanie. But you still kissed him smelling like peanut butter? Hee!
Don't remember..
Oh well. Maybe you'll remember later Larry.
I was about 13, and it was at the drive-in movies, on the merry go round. His name was David, and I had just met him that night. HE was an older man of 15...woohoo..but I was in la la land after that..lol
wow... I wasnt so innocent by that age... I lost my V-card when I was 9 to a 11 year old, and contiued to do it till I was 11 1/2. And I had just learned about sex. Glad my mom never found out, she would have flipped!! (but between the ages of 12 and 16, i was innocent)
Maybe my first kiss shouldnt have been in kindergarten, lol.
Sheesh, I was 17 when I lost my V-card.
Wow Donna! You remember him well don't you? So you must have seen stars that night if that first kiss sent you to La La Land. How great is that!
Krystal ~ You lost your V-card when you were 9?? Wow! Wow! Wow!
Sure glad that you didn't get pregnant from a very early age.
Donna ~ Uh hum. I was seventeen and 7 months old when I lost my V-card.
What the heck is this V-card business? Never heard of it before. Hee!
My first kiss ever? Ah... right in the middle of the kindergarten room's play mat, my boyfriend planted one on my lips.
Mine and greg's first kiss? Heh... I was laying on the bed on my back listening to music and he creeped upwards on me, and it was the best kiss I ever had, and I still get the same feeling I got from that kiss when he kisses me now. Its like a sugar rush almost.
You're too romantic for words Krystal!
(Let me know when the baby comes so that I can send a gift ok??)
Sounds like Greg must be a great kisser! Good for you. =)
OH yes...I remember. I had this huge crush on this boy, and we were at an outdoor party. He and I had been "friends" for quite awhile, but I really wanted him for a boyfriend. At one point, we went into the gym to play basketball. As we were playing, some pranksters cut the lights off and left us in the pitch dark. I screamed and his first response was to come over and hug me and tell me it was okay...he was right there. Before you knew it, his lips were pressed against mine. My breath was taken away, and it was love from that point on. Turns out he was a big loser....lol....and is now the number one drug dealer as well as the only taxi cab driver in the small town I grew up in. Oh well... In the 7th grade, he was hot...:)
My first boyfriend, from kindergarten thru 6th grade, was my best friend after that, and we stayed best friends until last year right before I had Bryan, and I found out he was doing Ice, and I said until he stops, to not come over anymore, because I dont want it around my kids. I havent seen him since, but he'll write me everyonce in a while on myspace or call once in a blue moon to see how I'm doing.
Cheryl ~ Your first kiss sounds like it was also a good one! I know how that first one feels like as I got knobby kneed after my first kiss, and from that point forward I was hooked. ;p
Too bad your first kisser turned into a loser.
Krystal ~ I'm glad that you told your ex boyfriend not to come around if he was doing ice because of the kids. One never knows what could happen if one of them got a hold of something like that. I don't think that you did wrong in not wanting to see him anymore.
I was 16 and wasn't expecting it. Blond Becky Ward was 15 and caught me by surprise. She was dating another guy and he was busy that night, so a few of us were hanging out drinking Boone's Farm 'wine'. All of a sudden, she came over, sat on my lap, put her arms around me...and slipping me the tongue. She was like a vacuum with that suction and just wouldn't let go. (I don't even recall who my first guy was. I probably didn't even know his name in the first place...LOL!)
Oh i've had many fuzzy memories to Boone's Farm Fuzzy Navel :D
Blonde Becky Ward ~ WOOT!!
You still remember that suction kiss dear Rob! WOOT! WOOT! What I am curious about is whether you got any more kisses from ol' Becky Ward after that initial one? Inquiring minds want to know...
As for your first guy ~ You don't remember? I would have thought that you would remember him forever. ;)
Oh wow. It seems that there are some really early first kisses out there. Kindergarten? I think I remember who. But when, where, and how? Nope, I sure don't. Must not have been to memorable.
yep kindergarden Randall. But it isn't as bad as it sounds we were more courious than romantic
Randall ~ Gosh! You know if mine was in kindergarten I sure don't remember it. The first one that I remember is my seventh grade spin the bottle kisses. Yeehaw!
I know what you mean if you can't remember the first one if it was in kindergarten...
Vivian ~ But what a heckuva good memory you have if you remembered yours to have been in kindergarten. I don't remember too much about my kindergarten other than the fact that I was bored silly.
Yes, I was in 7th grade and it occurred behind the benches at the roller skaring rink, lol. That's about all I can remember. It was too long ago.
7th grade at the roller skating rink seems to be a popular place. I've heard this answer quite a bit in my life and one from someone near and dear to my heart.
Too long ago Marianne? You're younger than me so you should remember better than me...
It was awful. I actually thought, "THIS is what get boys so hot and bothered?" It was gross and evidently he wasn't a good kisser. There was just this tongue poking into my mouth--yuck
EWWW. I don't think my first kiss was a french one otherwise I might have never kissed again after that one.
Too bad he grossed you out. Yikes! I would have freaked having someone sticking their tongue into my mouth like that too. =p
Oh geez, when I hear women bitchin' about boys/men being bad kissers, dancers, lovers, etc, I usually think there's a good chance it's the other way around or at least 50/50 the woman's fault. Kissing, dancing, and making love are all partner activities, you know, it takes two to tango.
his lips were firm, yet gentle. his eyes looked deep into mine. I fell into a vortex of ache for him. he pulled me close with hisbrawny arms and kissed me until the world SPUN..... Ah, how sweet his mouth, how loving his touch, how..........((((( X-rated, sorry))
Penni, Penni, Penni! You are so funny!!
Love the way you described it. Like reading a romantic novel by Cartland or someone of her caliber. ;p
Would loveeee to hear about the x-rated parts...
wow, very good Penni.....
It sure was nice and saucy wasn't it Randall??
My first kiss was in the tenth grade. I was "going with" a guy that had been my boyfriend in the eigth grade too. (held hands was about all we ever did. I had moved but we decided to go out again anyway. After a couple of months, I knew the long distance relationship, at our age wasn't going to work. i went to a basketball game where he was going to school. We sat off talking, and when I told him that it wasn't working and we needed to break up, he kissed me. I was never really quite sure how to take that....LOL
Wow Lisa. I wouldn't have known how to take that first kiss either. Almost like, what the heck??
Kristy McNichol...?? Did you kiss her poster or did you kiss her?? Praytell Tom...spill the beans!
I was on the school bus. A boy I really didn't talk to came up and kisses me on the lips and said, "Kelly, you are a very pretty girl." I turned every shade of purple and wiped off my lips as soon as he sat down.
Fast forward 10 years, he is a gay cowboy. =D
Wow Kelly! Now that kiss sounds like something special for sure! I would have died had someone done that to me.
So was he cute? Did you ever go out with him after that or anything?
Too bad he is now a gay cowboy. At least he's not a muscle bound gay guy now like one of my exes is. Ho hum. :O)
Gay guys have the best tastes. Hi Esther! Long time no see!! No TX teams in NBA playoff!! :(
You are so right about gay guys having the best taste. ;) You see what happened to Kelly and I??
Long time no see chick!
It sucks that Dallas and San Antonio and Houston out of playoffs this year! Sheesh! It makes this time of year boring.
I hope Lakers LOSE!! Anyone but them!!
are we talking about just a first kiss?
the one on the playground or in the tree house or playing spin the bottle?
or do you mean "THE FIRST KISS" the first kiss that made your "foot pop!"?
Let's see, there was some exploration and experimentation around 4th grade, I remember a more "innocent" type kiss, the kind that was less about curiosity and had at least a tiny bit of emotional connection with one of my teammates walking me home after swim practice when I was 11 or 12, first summer crush maybe. First really romantic and meaningful kiss - pop you foot kind - was as a freshman (freshwoman) in high school. There was a long build up of flirtation that made the eventual kiss almost orgasmic. It was a good kiss and began an exclusive relationship that lasted a long time (several months! a lifetime to a teenager) and even when we started dating other people we remained close friends through the rest of high school.
Yes Altair. Just a simple first kiss even if perhaps it wasn't as simple as that...
Foot pop? I'm cracking up here as I've never heard that expression before either.
OOH that freshman kiss sounds gooooood to me!
"Foot pop?" yep that's exactly what the mother said in the movie!
This from the Princess Diaries. Anne Hathaway's character telling her mother how she wants her first real kiss to be. To make her "foot pop" like in the old movies.
Do you remember your first kiss? Hell yeah!
Describe it.......................................Hell yeah!
I was twelve, I dated him for 4 years after that.
Yes, I remember it well. The tall drink of water that gave it to me was more experienced than I. We were dating and we had gone down to stroll around the Riverwalk when he planted it on me! I, suppose, it was ok, but not as great as George's.
so funny to think back,, i got punished for sneaking out to play baseball, Joe snuck up our fireexscape brought me a flower and gave me a kiss.. that was my first kiss. I was to young to date..
She wanted more at a later date, but when I found out she was in a 'relationship' with someone else and 'whoring' around behind his back; I told her to get lost. I didn't want to be tasting him in her mouth. You never know what or who had been in there last. I sure didn't want anything to do with her. If she'll do that to others; she'd have no problem doing it to me, too. Hit the road, sista!
wow, good stuff here Esther....Yep, it was a time for remembering, as my High School reunion was this past weekend...We talked about a lot of stuff, and let me tell you, it wasn't just the kissing...
I one thing that I remember is, this certain girl came into school, when I was in third grade, and I thought to myself, that I will be her boyfriend... Sure enough. It did come to pass..
I didn't know how to react to her tongue, but it felt nice.
V-Card? I've never heard that before.
My first kiss was in kindergarten. He ran up to me, kissed me, then punched me on the arm, and ran away...true love...hahahahaha. I think each relationship begins with a first kiss.
Dinner's cooking so I'' be brief. Jr High, bleachers, basketball game was going on. crowded gym. She had black hair and blue eyes. Her tongue was in my mouth before I even saw it coming, by the time the kiss ended my hand was inside her tee shirt cupping a breast. Always been a quick learner....
I was about 7 and she was a neighbor's daughter. We had no idea of really how to kiss so it ended up with me being bitten. I was in no hurry for another one.
Oh, I remember and it was soooooooo bad I can't even begin to describe it.
Oh, yes! Ricky Cox. 7th grade. Brewer, Maine. Soft, wet and wonderful! He did the kissing, however. I just stood there too awestruck to react!!
WOW, I actually knew a Ricky from Brewer. Thibeault was it? Not sure. Most of my growing-up-and-kissing-time was in Mexico, Rumford or Dixfield. Now that Dixfield girl she could kiss. Of course she was three years older, a veritable woman of the world. And REDHAIR too!
I honestly do not remember. It was just too long ago and apparently not very memorable. I do remember my first date though and I did not kiss him good night, so it wasn't him. LOL
Esther, HOW COULD YOU?? How could you possibly ASTONISH me with this little tiny HUGE question and Memory Initiator?? [is that even a word?] You have tickled my EVERYTHING and I also LOVE your quote about seeing as I am instead as how it IS!!
It's going to take some time for me to remember my first kiss, I remember it being Brigit Bardot but I am concerned that my Senility and Wishful Thinking Brain Cells are getting over on my Reality brain cells by sheer force of numbers.
I am SO HAPPY I finally visited your site, you got me NOW Woman and you've got me for KEEPS!!
Don't worry, I have hundreds of witnesses that having me around is a GOOD thing!
Or is that my Wishful Thinking trying to pull off some kinda con...hmmmm....
Nope, It be de Real Deal Sweetie!!
BRILLIANT WORK Esther who makes Flesh and Bone into the Highest Form of BEING!!!!
And Thanx for your warm comment on my earlier Mom history, THANX DEAR ESTHER!!!
And I LOVE the way you inspire People!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was in Kindergarten at circle time. The teacher had been called over to the intercom at the other side of the classroom and of course was facing the speaker pressing the button. My little boyfriend and I met in the middle of the circle, held hands, and kissed. I still remember his full name and the house he used to live in, but the field we'd hunt for snakes in is now another neighborhood...
yup - it was in kindergarten and I tackled the neighbor boy kissed him and ended up rolling down the hill together :)
I was in third grade and spending the night with a friend who lived on a farm. His older sister was about 16 years old and we were all playing in the hay loft in their barn. Sitting on a bale of hay with her, she reached over and took my hand and said something about my being such a sweet looking boy for my age and then kissed me in a very sensual way that made me want more of that. Never happened again though. Not with her anyway.
I will discuss this matter with the Gals from that time, 1964-7, and get the dates straight. Always wanted to and a few are still close by.
My "kissin' cousin", a city girl, who was much more worldly than i was. We were out riding in the evening about sunset. We stopped up on top of a hill, she rode her horse up along side mine, leaned over and laid a long, hard, wet one on me. It blew me right out of my little cowboy boots! I couldn't think straight for a week... I was thirteen, and from that point forward i became interested in more than horses, motorcycles and such!
Like it was yesterday. We were playing our version of Spin the Bottle and the boy I liked got kissed first by my friend Pam. They leaned over from oppisite sides of the table and touched lips between giggles. Fortunately when my turn came I got him. Instead of leaning over a table I walked over and climbed on his lap, put my arms around his neck and kissed him. Once I got in his lap I was not moving and my hands were staying around his neck. It did make it difficult for him to continue playing with me there and I might have growled at the other girls when they were supposed to be kissing him.
Wow! I must have been a really late bloomer! I was 15 when I had my first "real" kiss. You know the kind where the guy slips you the tongue. His name was Dave and I was head over heels in love with him since I had been 13, so when he finally did notice me I was overwhelmed! It happened in his bathroom, and his whole family was just located on the other side of the door! Dave was an awesome kisser and set the stage for the rest of my life! I will never forget that first kiss!
lol..lucky if I remembered what I did yesterday
yes. innocent is how it felt.
yep, it was awkward. it was w/my late best friend. we met, we dated, we split up and we stayed friends. for 15 yrs. then he passed away, 2006. i have an album dedicated to him.
it was sloppy and awkward
