I know that I am behind times in just now reading the Twilight Series, but I have a question to all Twilight fans or maybe even readers in general.
I made a mistake I think in watching Twilight before reading the book and I had a very difficult time getting through the book. I even layed it down and went back about a month later and finished it.
Has anyone found this to be true when you see a move and then read the book?
I have started New Moon and am already hooked and I am not to far into it. I am anxiously waiting to get hom from work and my sons baseball to start it again.

I watched the movie with my daughter who read all of the books first. She told me that she felt the movie was more enjoyable after reading the books because she could fill in the gaps with her knowledge of the story from the books. She also told me that in her opinion, the books got successively better with each one.
Heard some good things about Twilight. Hope you enjoy it!
I read them after seeing the movie and I couldn't put Twilight down. New Moon was my least favorite of the 4, followed by Breaking Dawn. I thought Eclipse was great.
Honestly I can't think of a movie where I watched the movie before reading the book. I'm thinking, but I really can't think of one. I always read the book first.
I usually try and see the movie first because otherwise the movie is so disappointing conmpared with the book. However, if you do read the book first, you usually understand more of what is going on in the movie.
I haven't read this series...not into vampires myself, but it seems very popular.

I do think it's hard to read the book after the movie. I tried it back with "Bridges of Madison County" and it was a tiny book! I haven't seen Twilight but my niece loves the series.

With Twilight I was glad that I read the book before seeing the movie. But most of the time I see the movie then read the book.
