I forgot to post this yesterday, but I did start my challenge yesterday. The goal is to drink 8 glasses of water a day. To help, Gather sent me a nice Eddie Bauer water bottle, 3 boxes & 2 packets of Crystal Light.
Now, I don't consider it water if I'm mixing stuff into it to flavor it. Then it's Crystal Light, complete with fancy words like citric acid, aspartame (in the Energy flavor- Wild Strawberry), caffeine, and food dyes.
That aside, I prefer flavor to plain water anyway, so that's not going to stop me from drinking it.
We were on the road a lot of yesterday. Because we were sore from our day at Cedar Point (lots of walking!), we made several pit stops along the drive. I had my water bottle filled once, and drank it on the way home, then again later in the evening, though I didn't finish it all.
I don't know the size of the water bottle, but it's bigger than 8 ounces. I would say I probably got in about 3 "glasses" through out the day. I did have soda, though, as well since I had gotten one when we stopped for lunch.
I have started the day with a full water bottle, though. We'll see how I do today!

I have a ways to go- I've never been one to drink a lot of fluids through out the day, no matter what they are, so that was pretty good for me. I'm aiming for 2 full water bottles today, and maybe a half of one!
Aiming is good! Did you check your weight before you started? I am willing to bet you will lose some. Although you probably don't need to! I lost a pound yesterday, got my 8 glasses in. Working on #4.
Sounds like you are doing pretty well. For the most part, I'm pretty good about getting my water in although I drink other stuff as well.

Good luck. The only way I really remember to drink water is to drink about half a glass each time I get the kids a drink. I am not big on drinking enough fluids either, but when I workout to the point of sweating I immediately get thirsty (which shows I am not hydrated enough).
Some of the nicer water bottles are EXPENSIVE. I have been looking for an insulated one to keep water cool while running, and I am having a hard time finding just the right one.

I'm fairly certain that I get enough water most days. I tend to drink water throughout the day.
