Truth Behind the Strength
The strong woman is many things
not the least of which is these
she does all that she needs to
not just what she please
yet life still happens
and darkness still deceives
a strong woman will go on
not staying on her knees
yet so very often
her strength is but a face
she longs to find a lover
not afraid to embrace
someone with whom
the word partner resonates
to share in good and bad
being a lover and a mate
Love is the greatest strength
that God did create
without it we are drowning
in a world filled with hate.
