BzzScapes and honeycombs... 2 honeycombs per month?

It is an extra one.  But if you do more than the 3 frogs or the 10 bzzscapes you do not get extra honeycombs after that.

Sometimes I do the frogs just because they are fun!  One month I did 5 even though I knew I wouldn't get another honeycomb... lol

I believe that the honeycombs earned via frogpond and bzzscapes are independent of each other.  You should be able to earn 2

I don't even know what the honeycombs really are...I'm just glad I've gotten in on a couple of campaigns lately.  Someday when I actually get a chance to stay home I will have to check out this bzzscapes thing.

Marsha, you should at least try the Frogs, if you do one every 9-10 days you will get another honeycomb per month!   I'm trying to get more honeycombs so I can get more campaigns!!

IT is indeed an "extra" honeycomb that we can earn in addition to the one for doing 3 Frogs.  By the way the 3 frogs you do do not have to have polls associated with them.And you also earn a honeycomb when completing 3 reports per campaign and if that is 4 campaigns per month you do rack up those honeycombs.

Thanx April!  So in general, 3 reports is what we will get credit/points for but with some we can report 4 and receive points?

MErry,  We can only get 1 honeycomb for doing 2 required reports per campaign and if we want to get more campaigns we are required to do at least these 3 reports per campaign.  You get 50 - 55 points per report and you are not at all limited to 3 reports not even 4.   You should be reporting all of your bzz and if you talked to say 20 people that could be 20 reports and you are rewarded 50 - 55 points  per report.  I generally report 8 reports per campaign per month that way I usually get a $25 GC over at My Points per Month

 To better explain, if say Claritin is a 90 day campaign my first 2 (required) reports are made almost immediately the first month and I get 1 honeycomb, but I also do 3 frogs and add 10 bzzscapes so I now have 3 honeycombs and around 100 points.  Now I make 8 additional reports for Claritin the first month giving me a total of around 400 additional points at My Points.  The second month of the campaign I again do 3 frogs and 10 Bzzscapes and 2 reports for a  new campaing  for another 3 honeycomb and I also make 10 more reports for Claritin for 500 more My Points, and 8 additional reports for the new campaign for another 400 My Points.  Then the third month of the Claritin Campaign I again do my 3 frogs, my 10 Bzzscapes and now another 2 reports for the new campaign for a total of 3 more honeycombs and now I am reporting 8 - 10 reports for claritin and 8 to 10 reports for the second campaign and now another 8 - 10 reports for the third campaign.  So this third month I generate around 1,200 points.

Having Sweet Bee status usually generates me 4 active campaigns per month, even though some of them are from previous months.  So when you add an additional 10 reports at 50 points per report you can see how I can easily cash out for $25 GC's all the time, and if the report is exceptional I have gotten 55 points for those reports.

That is amazing!  If I ever have more than one campaign going I might get somewhere.. lol  I've done pretty well I think since I've only been a member a couple of months. I can't wait to have more than one campaign going at the same time.  Kinda gets me excited to look forward to it. 

You gave some great info. one thing though I went back and read the thing with the three frogs ponds, and I copied this..

"complete at least three Frog Opinions AND polls per month" so that lead me to believe it needs to be the ones with the polls to earn a honeycomb. Right?

Also occassionally when I do some surveys in my inbox I get 3 points occassionally for completing the surveys, today I did two of these for an additional 6 My Points.

That's how I understood it, but I haven't even gotten into the new bzzscapes.  Looks like I need to spend time figuring it out and doing some.

I think that the BzzScapes are going to be a lot more involved than the Frogs so I wish we got a few points to go along with the honeycomb for those.

I have no idea about it, joined, but do not know what to do.

Thanks.  If by chance you come across this comment JonO can you clear up something for me/us.  On the frog ponds.. in order for us to get a honeycomb for doing 3 is does need to be 3 frogs "with polls" correct?  I copied this from the .com  complete at least 3 frogs and polls per month 

To me that reads that it needs to be 3 frogs that have a poll with them which I understand are usually the new ones. Am I understanding this correctly?

I do not know how to do the new bzzscape but I do the frogs and the posts to get points. I love the fact that they are connected with mypoints.com.

Dawn, I love getting those MyPoints too! Don't forget that if you comment on at least 10 of the Scapes you get a honeycomb!  It will show up in your history tab under your profile!

Samantha, if you read all of this, it will give you a good idea.  Honeycombs are important, as the more you have, the more likely you are to be offered more campaigns!

Merry, I noticed when I did a frog that didn't have a poll it didn't count towards my three for the month, so now I only do ones with polls to make sure I make my three.

Yeah, that is what I believe to be true.. It has to be the Frogs with the polls. Perhaps when JonO gets a min. he will confirm it for us.

Although, I must admit that I have done more than the required 3, and several of them didn't have the poll, I just did them because they interested me lol..

It's easy, but sometimes I have little questions that I want to be sure of and cannot find it in the Q&A section on the .com  and most always one of the BzzTeam give us an answer!!

It really helps to read the Q&A section as they have it broken down, but occassionally we/you/I may have a question, and JonO almost always gives us the answer.

 Also, be sure and check out your History page under your profile.  It pretty well shows "everything" you have done.

Basically it is now possible to earn at least 3 honeycombs per month.

1 for doing 3 frogs with polls, 1 for commenting or adding content to at least 10 of the scapes, and another if you have at least one ongoing campaign and you do the three reports within that month.

Is there anyway to earn MORE than 3 honeycombs per month? I just started last week and already have my three and I want more!!!  :-)  Thanks!

Only if you have more than one campaign. If you do the 3 frogs you'll get one and then add 10 pieces of content to the bzzscapes it will earn you one. Then if you have a minimum of 2 approved bzz reports you will get one. I have 4 campaigns going on at the same time so I am able to rack up the honeycombs currently. I have also been rewarded a honeycomb when I completed the follow up poll at the end of a campaign plus you'll get 30 MyPoints.

Since I just started, how long will it be before I start getting campaigns??
